What's this Native Rendering you guys are talking about?
the use of the lockinfo without the need for advanced javascript / html nor winterboard
What's this Native Rendering you guys are talking about?
First off... This thread is for LockInfo without winterboard.
In my opinion, themes for LockInfo are useless now. Native Rendering means you can use LockInfo without any themes. It looks nice and runs faster.
Just turn off your theme and you'll see.
As far as that transparency. Either try the LockInfo settings or it's the theme's fault. I answered that question earlier.
How do I edit native rendering to show my hometown instead of Permanente?
any idea how to replace the slider with no winterboard? I.E. make it a lot smaller ?
vivi how do i change the color of the clock in the lockscreen without winterboard?
thanksYou have to edit the .png.
You do everything the same as a theme, but you just have to manually swap out the .png files.
thanks
but can you be more specific, where are the png files located?
and im no good in photoshop i just want to make the clock red, can i download the red png files somewhere online?
If you find any theme or image of what you want online you can put it where you want it. I think it's UILCDBackground or something like that. probably in /System/Library/CoreServices/Springboard.app/
thanks
im in the sprinboard folder
but what is the name of the png i need to replace? for the clock
Unlock Slider Theme
I have been inundated with requests for this slider some off you have received it but to save me having to send it out I thought I would post it Here
It is just the Unlock Slider no wallpaper no theme
SSH into Themes
Place at top of winterboard and you can then use it whenever you want to
Enjoy

I've got lockinfo working perfect without winterboard
also, I've almost managed to theme my iphone without winterboard, by replacing the stock graphics. almost means I can not find any trace of stock files corresponding to images found in UIImages folder of themes. assuming they are assembled into .artwork files or embedded into the code some way - correct me if I'm wrong
another question - is there any way to teach lockinfo use weather data from app Fiz Weather - the best one, after me, and the most accurate. cause yahoo and apple data actually sucks - it's always wrong
and one more - in the Info.plist file of a theme there is some css styling for the springboard, like calendar icon letter sizes and colors. I checked everywhere I could trying to find this styling for original springboard... no luck. any suggestions? maybe I could add this styling to some other Info.plist?
thanks...

I'm happy with the native rendering for LockInfo but I'd like to use the Tea LockBackground theme (Tea Time-Lapse in Cydia) for the lockscreen background. Is there a way to do this without Winterboard? I've had no luck using the instructions in this thread....
Hi all,
I'm not sure if what I'm trying to do is possible, but I was hoping someone might be able to answer it for me. I originally set up lockinfo and themed it with Winterboard, but decided I didn't really like it A) being on the lock screen, and B) didn't like the slowdown caused by Winterboard. So, after uninstalling everything and mulling things over, I remembered seeing an option to have the lockinfo screen on the first page of the springboard instead of the lockscreen. I liked this idea a lot, and decided to give it a try, but this time without Winterboard (after reading through this thread).
So, my question is...can I still theme lockinfo without winterboard, and with it on the first screen of springboard and not on the lockscreen? I had lockinfo themed just the way I wanted during the first setup, and after removing it, I saved all the files I had altered and tried moving them over to the Lockinfo/plugins folder on the iPhone, but none of those changes were applied. Anyway, back to the gist, is it possible? And if so, could someone guide me in the right direction?
Thanks in advace!!

There should be directions in the beginning of this thread and throughout it about what exactly to do.
If you still have questions about specifics then ask there but also post what theme you are trying to use as well.
I'm using the Grupppled Lockinfo.theme that I acquired from this website. Following Rubalkalra's advice, I dropped this into the Library/Lockinfo folder, resprang and restarted my phone, but still no theme. Not sure what step I'm missing, as I tired to follow the directions at the beginning of this thread (from step 3 as I'd already removed Winterboard before trying this again).

Sorry, I guess the first post in this thread just isn't helping me that much.I've downloaded the Gruppled Native theme as you suggested, but what exactly now do I do with it? I apologize for being difficult.
