Hi,

First of all unzip the file. It will give you two folders, one com.apple.springboard and other com.apple.telephonyui.
Step 1:-
Open com.apple.springboard, open en.proj, copy springboard.strings and paste it to /System/Library/CoreServices/springboard.app/english.Iproj. Soemtimes english.iporj can be en.Iproj.
Step2:-
open com.apple.telephonyui, copy all files and paste all files to /system/Library/privateframeworks/telephonyui.framework.
Do not paste into english.iproj
Better if you take a backup.

Respring and Enjoy!

Worked perfect. thanks!!!

Hi,

Actually Springboard.app is different for 3.0 or greater version. Check on spotlight If u are able to see "Search IPhone" then it's correct otherwise PM me ur mail ID. I will send an updated file.

Thanks!

Not sure. :D

Did you get either Dim or Dark? Those are the native ones. I'm not sure what the file contents are because I don't use them. Also I am unable to download the files here to check for you.

I can guess though what you'll want to look for...

section_header.png will be the headers. There may be one for the Clock plugin specifically too. That one you have to put in the /Library/LockInfo/Plugins/com.ashman.clockplugin/ folder. Not the real filepath, but should be enough to get you on your way.

If there is a .plist file, put it in the root /Library/LockInfo folder.

Ok, I think I've got this now. Now, last question, is it possible to use Gruppler's Tea LockBackground.theme in the springboard as well? I can only seem to get this to show up in the lock screen, but would love to have this applied to the springboard as well. Any know if that is possible and if so how to make it happen?

Thanks!

I'm getting really really frustrated with all of this. First off, I'm running lockinfo WITHOUT winterboard.

I'm trying to use the Gruppled Native Dim theme from here:
http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=582ff3c07a787f357432d3c9683f450acba7f3d59795573b5be6ba49b5870170

Since this is long after Lockinfo no longer requires winterboard, I'm assuming I no longer need to download a .DEB file as post #1 of this thread suggests? If so, I think we need to edit/update some of these posts as they have advice that has me lost.

OK. So I open the folder that says "Gruppled Dim" and dragged all of the contents to Library>Lockinfo on my phone and resprung. Nothing.

What exactly do I need to do with "Gruppled Dim" and where exactly do I need to place each of the theme files in that folder?

Hopefully this question helps out others who are also lost with all of this. Many thanks.

I already did :D Big bold at the top of the first post ;)

Moving on to actually helping...

I realize the link I gave earlier was innacurate. :D Here are the correct MediaFire links. https://forums.macrumors.com/posts/8826651/

I edited my post there to be correct.

I'm aware of that, but I'm looking for clarification if possible.

You said in post #1:

You should be able to drop anything that's in a Themes/<theme>/Bundles directory into /Library/LockInfo/Plugins directory except for com.ashman.LockInfo. Those files would reside directly in /Library/LockInfo/.

So I should be able to take the Gruppled Dim folder and drag the 8 themes inside into the Library/Lockinfo/Plugins folder?

Nope, read the link I sent.

That was just a weathericon and LiveClock theme. Not the actual gruppled theme. It also doesn't apply to Native Rendering. I posted directions over in the LockInfo is 3.0 Ready thread.

I'll make an edit later.

Just updated Post 1 with directions for theming Native Rendering!

Read it and try it out before asking.

Hi,

i just installed the native matte ui theme and saw that the slider is also being modified. So, is it possible to restore just the slider, but keep the rest?

thx a lot.

Are you using Winterboard? This thread is not about Winterboard but you should just be able to remove the images from the Telephony ui folder to keep that from being themed.

That was it, thanks.

Does it make a difference if i activate the native theme trough winterboard?
