Anyone using Logitech Flow? Seems to not work correctly with M1 devices?! Sometimes I can swap machines by "pointing the cursor to the edge of the screen" but most of the time it does nothing. Tested with a Mac mini M1 and a PC both using the newest Logitech options app.

Sorry to "spam" this thread, but another bug:
Using AirPods Pro I can't adjust the noice canceling like I used to do before (macOS). There is nothing I can adjust with the control center and also not in the audio preferences. Even "asking Siri" to activate or deactivate noise cancelling leads to "Its activated - content not available" with the preferences Symbol. Really strange.

The first one gave me so many problems, Apple Care on the phone wanted me to drive to Gainsville to get it fix after it refused to re-install the OS. I sent it back to apple...they sent a new one but I just don't want to deal with problems again + Big Sur is not a good OS at best....My 2011 Mac Mini is now working great....+ microphone input has been taken out plus USB C would need adapters....they fixed everything NOT broken like iTunes and ignore that fact that copy/paste has not been improved since OS8 and address book is unchanged..no change of fonts, size, color.....and the on screen notifications is unnecessary at best.

do anyone's displays have ghosting on their MBP M1? I seem to have it, especially in dark mode when scrolling, or transitioning between apps

As a point of reference for those wondering about battery drain during sleep, I've just woken mine from an 18 hr snooze and it's still at 100%. Open apps included Safari, Teams, Ulysses, Todoist, Notion, Woven, Squash, Dashlane and Photos. Previously I'd been seeing a 1-5% drop after 1-10 hours sleep. So something somewhere has been stealing juice but not this time.

I only just got my MBP M1. The 2 main issues i have had so far are: 1) TouchID does not work (isn't even offered) for Apple Pay (yes it is set up), and 2) Since updating to 11.1 a couple of days ago, out of 5 reboots, 3 times the mouse cursor has been frozen (it's still moving in the background becasue if you "guess" the location of the mouse you can click on stuff).

How is everyone's battery when using external displays or USB-C hubs? Mine pretty much halves AND drains about 10% overnight.

I'm using a new Mac Mini M1 and printing is a bit of an issue. I tried using the normal way of adding a printer (using a brother 3230CDW) and when it went into sleep mode I always had to power down the printer and turning it back on in order to print. Otherwise it would send the print to the que but never wake up the printer. As soon as I reboot the printer, the printer would receive the data and print. I then added the printer using an IP number and now it wakes up fine. The only issues thats still a problem is the print que.. No matter what I do, the print que does not appear on the dock and even if I go into the printer in settings, I can not get the printer to show the que so I can manage it.

Anyone run into this?

You need to be more specific. What external display or USB-C hub are you using? My MBA connects to LG UK850 via USB-C or LG 5K2K via TB3 and both charged fine. If your external display or hub is not supplied enough power then battery drain is expected.

I've got a Brother HL 3150 CDW wirelessly connected to my base model M1 Air. It wakes up when I want to print and does all the double sided printing etc.
What I would say is that it sometimes takes a little while to rouse itself from its slumbers but once it has it prints everything that I throw at it.
I had it set up om my 2020 intel Air and when the M1 air arrived I used the "Migrate" app on both laptops which worked seamlessly.
I know it's not much use to you that mine is working, it's the same brand an an earlier model judging by the numbering. I'm happy to check any settings if you want to compare

EDIT: When I set it up originally I went to system preferences and it found the printer on my wireless network. I didn't need to download any software or drivers from Brother.

Well, printing now is not a problem, it may have had something to do with resolving the printer name. But now using IP for printing, it wakes up immediately. My issue now is not being able to see the print que in Big Sur so I can manage the print job. If I mistakenly print a large job, there is no way to cancel the print job.

OK, I've just sent a job to the printer and notice that the Printer icon does not appear in the Dock ( it used to show up with a number denoting the pending jobs)
I selected " open print queue " after I sent the job but to no effect. If I select " Options and supplies" then it shows me the toner levels

TiSSUE!!! ? I'd stop doing that unless you want micro scratches all over your screen.Never use a tissue to clean your MacBook screen.
Great and what instead? Its not a typical tissue I used, something super fine for camera objects

Don't go cleaning your MacBook screen everyday or so, you'll only end up with more problems, i'd use a microfibre towel, clean it once every few month, Im yet to clean my M1 pro screen, still looking good, I don't touch my screen either.

The more you clean the screen, the bigger the risk is of rubbing off the coating on the screen.

yeah being obsessive about the screen is a recipe for disaster. Unless I accidentally coughed on it, it does not get wiped ever and if it does, I use a LENS cleaner type chemical (photography, lenses and/or glasses) and get it wet before I wipe down. Doing it dry only scrubs the fine dust and grime over the plastic surface and introduces fine scratches.

Never use a dirty micro fibre or dusty microfibre either.
If you ever polished the paint of a car and understand swirl marks... if you follow the same principle x10 as these screen are much more prone to scratches than clear coat.
