More importantly, usually the actual manufacturer only sells locally, while a select few "vendors" take these products and then market them globally.
You may be right, but it seems the Alibaba manufacturers often sell globally, albeit often mostly wholesale. The Alibaba platform offers them that flexibility.

So my stand showed up from Qwiizlab (same as Colorii).
I have the same stand, Colirii branded. Couldn't resist from Aliexpress at the price, and I also had no need for what is a $20 USB-A hub. It matches perfectly, is sturdy and well-made and the space underneath is ample for a real TB solution. And did I mention it was not expensive?

So my stand showed up from Qwiizlab (same as Colorii). Very nice. Sturdy aluminum and a perfect fit. I'm attaching a couple pics. Not bad for $24.95. I didn't opt for the hub versions as I didn't want to use a TB5 port for a low speed hub. Instead I plan to put my Element hub in the space under the mini.

I've seen some reviews that say that the wifi and Bluetooth are affected by this stand. Can you please run some tests and see if that's true? I'm more interested in the Bluetooth aspect, I'd hate for it to cut off the mouse connection.

Mine has no issues, I use an extended keyboard/TouchID and magic mouse. Not a single issue. Where have you "seen some reviews", I would like to read. I'm curious to see if they were based on real-world usage - or merely speculation.

Thank you for answering.

The reviews were on AliExpress, but under the dock version of the stand from colorii. They got mixed up in my head while I was browsing around.

There are 2 reviews that mention the same issue.

I've ordered mine last night.

Orico has a vertical dock coming as well.
Oddly there is an ethernet port, perhaps the dock wasn't even aimed for the mini in the first place?

I've preordered the RayCue unit because I realised that I don't need storage at TB5 speeds for a secondary drive. I also like the design. I'll provide updates if/when it arrives.

P.S "RAYCUE20" for a 20% discount at checkout 👍
Just did the same, thanks a lot for the code!

Dilligently looks at thread

Looks at my Minis with sticky rubber feet slapped on the side that keeps them perfectly stable

🤔

Clearly not
Someone at Orico definitely had a head slapping moment and they decided to dash off a support piece

Ended up ordering the RayCue 40Gbps version, as my main usage for it is a more aesthetic/matching place for my NVMe stick (which is my boot drive on a base model M4 Mini)

Only thing I wish they'd kept on there is the SD card reader, but I can use a dongle for that honestly.
Great to have full TB speed NVMe and a couple USB-A's as the choices

Internal storage is always better but Apple reams you bad when you increase the internal ssd.

Just adding to this comment

On my base Mini M4, my SN770 2TB boot drive NVMe, in a TB enclosure, benchmarks slightly faster than the internal Apple SSD (probably only the case on the base model Mini I'd guess)

It trades blows and is mostly a wash -- I'm just delighted to not be losing any performance by avoiding the Tim Cook Gouge on SSD pricing (and I already had this NVMe stick from my decommissioned Hackintosh)

I think the internals were pre-designed as an external USB-C dongle with Ethernet/HDMI/SSD/USB-C/USB-A/memory card reader then an Engineer noticed that that the board was roughly 5" x 2" so they glued on a silicon holder add-on on top of it to support the Mac mini M4's vertical orientation.

Price-wise it looks good but I'd want to know which M.2 SSD are they using?

These are the improvements I'd want integrated for the Mac mini M4 Pro targeted SKU

- TB5 120Gbps ports
- TB4 40Gbps ports
- USB-A 10Gbps ports
- HDMI 2.1
- CompactFlash reader for legacy professional dSLRs
- CFexpress Type B reader for professional mirrorless cameras
- 10Gb Ethernet
- 2-3x M.2 SSD slot with active cooling

It'll add another $200 to the cost

One of the RayCue videos shows the hub plugged into an AC power brick. Is this required or will it run using power supplied by the minis USB-C connection?
From their description.

*Without external power, the hub might rely on your Mac Mini’s USB-C port for energy, which could limit performance if multiple devices are connected..*

I would not recommend running one of these multi-function docks without external power, if you actually need those ports.

...here's another Company offering several variations of the Hub/Stand...

...there is one that has 40Gbps but that one only has the NVme Slot with one USB-C Portand no other Ports...

...you can see all of the options by clicking on the various buttons on the Right Hand side...

This very much resembles the RayCue design listed a few posts ago. Are these guys distributors or what?

Not anymore. Have you seen this?

No mention of 40Gbps nVME when I pre-ordered last month. Supposed to ship 12/15. Delayed. Now, I'm not sure when or what I will be getting.

Has anyone received one of these yet?
If you ordered the 10 Gbps (US$99) from RayCue, I suspect that is what you'll get. The 40 Gbps version is higher cost (US$110). The 10 Gbps ships Dec. 25 to Jan 10. The 40 Gbps ships Dec. 30 to Jan. 10.

Maybe you should contact them if you want the 40 Gbps version. If you are getting the 10 Gbps version, perhaps you can you cancel and re-order.

I'm concerned there wasn't any indication 40Gbps was an option last month. I'm more concerned about not receiving ANY dock since it's apparent the one I pre-ordered didn't ship on 12/15 as originally scheduled.

I emailed them. We'll see. The English-speaking customer reps probably have different hours. ;)

How do you like it? Did you get any of their additional memory? What about the power button?

Im thinking of adding their 1TB PCIe 4.0(7450MB/s) SSD but not sure about their durability and performance
