Yeah, I use Microsoft's RDC for Mac tool to control my laptop when its in the docking station... it was better (by not needing polling for video redirect), but now some of the VNC servers include a display driver hook (like TightVNC) which helps, but is still not quite as fast. RDC will redirect audio which is nice, while quite a few VNC clients have file-transfer stuff built into them if you are not networking drives.

Okay then. :)

The MIMO is awesome. I use it for iTunes, bouncing files between apps (like a parking lot) and iChat. It's USB powered. I'd love to set up an array of four across. It would be very easy to build a custom stand for them. The display is connected with a single knob.

The Yamaha's sound great. I mix a podcast where I convert vinyl records so I need some really flat monitoring. They are sweet for mixing and choppin up beats in Logic. Totally worth $400.00.

My brother's setting (24" iMac with 30" ACD) which is located next to my desk in the same home office.

Can you do me a favor? And take some close up pictures of your MIMO Display ? Maybe also with some different things on the screen so I can see how stuff looks?

Also do you have the touch screen version? Or just the regular version?

Thanks!

Mac Pro setup at home office with 30" ACD and 2 x 20" DELL

Those 20s are not widescreen aren't they?

I am still looking for two twenties to put next to my Cinema, but the difference of 80 pixels would annoy me, I guess.

Yours look pretty perfect in height. Could you give me a product number?
Thanks!

Standard 20"

For me it's the color combination of the monitors that doesn't really work for me. ACD in silver and the 2 Dell's in Black/Silver.

They are Dell 2007FP. Those 2 monitors were used with a PC in the past, but as you have mentioned so far they are the only one that seem to work pretty good in terms of height when rotated and put next to the 30" ACD.
