I can't cancel my Mac Pro. And I have all the stuff in it...

Does anyone else with a X1900XT get the "Cannot be canceled" on their mac pro?

Still the same here unfortunately, can't cancel. Hope that will change later today... knock on wood. LOL

EDIT: Oh jeez, I just noticed a little error. I meant to say that I CAN cancel, not that I can't.

The same, cannot change or cancel my order

Wow, so more and more people's X1900XT orders are going into lockup mode. This is good!

I think every order with the X1900XT is shipping this week!

My order has only been uncancelable since they upgraded me to Standard Overnite, so that's probably what did it for me.....

I can still cancel. You're not alone, kered22.

What's your configuration?

What's your order date?

What's your estimated ship date?

What's your shipping speed?

:D

You could get it shipped sooner if you go here
http://www.macmall.com/macmall/families/macpro/?WTReferer=http://www.macmall.com/&wt.mc_id=12626.. they put windows on it and everything for you and its a bit cheaper
Actually it's more expensive if you start adding stuff on. I live in Torrance just down the road from their retail store and priced out similar systems from them and Apple. With the X1900, it's $350 from Apple but the full $500 from Macmall, so that was the real killer for me.

Where can you put in the X1900XT at MacMall?

Ordered on Aug 7th (estimated shipping on Sept 12th)... BT, 802.11, and X1900 XT added on an otherwise standard config. My order is not locked down, nor has my credit card been charged.

Just type in X1900 in the search field and look for the upgrade kit for MacPro. I believe all of the sites carry it, CDW/Macwarehouse, Maczone, Macconnection in addition to MacMall, but they all have it for $500.

I just checked out MacMall and did find the x1900XT Mac Pro Upgrade Kit but it has a

Try calling I dare you - they said they didn't have a clue when they where getting any.

Interesting side note: Search for "X1900" on MacMall and look at the

ATI - KIT ALL IN WONDER X1900 256MB (Third on the list)

That thing costs $1,159.99 OUCH:confused:

Yeah they all do, MacZone and Macconnection try to give a time estimate and it's 10+ days and 2+ weeks respectively. The weekend before last, CDW had it listed as 2-4 days, then it changed Sunday to 1-3 days so I started to get my hopes up. Then it changed to "Call for Availability", so that was busted. LOL Either way (at least I think) those places aren't going to get them early, Apples going to take care of it's retail stores and online orders first, other resellers a distant second.

Damn, so maybe it's next week after all.....

Theres a lot of fishiness going on with my order.

1. I never got any confirmation emails for any of the stuff I did with apple by phone. Canceling, Reordering, Changing Shipping Speed, etc.

2. My Delivery date is a week after my shipping date, in spite of having Overnite shipping.

3. My order can't be cancelled, in spite of my shipping date being later than anyone elses.

No no, this was the weekend of the 19th and 20th. Weekend before last, not this past weekend. Somethings going on with the X1900 orders, just don't know what (mine can still be cancelled). Just have to wait until this evening and see if anyone gets a shipping notice, especially one with a FedEx tracking number that shows it being picked up in Rancho Cordova or another warehouse. :D

Is this anything to worry about?
