Having read all of the delays and long waiting times I was expecting the worst when I ordered on 11 April (standard Studio with 1TB SSD) but today I received a shipping notification and an expected delivery date of 2 May (against the original delivery window of 17 to 24 May when I ordered). I am in the EU.

It will be interesting to see if this is delivered without problems.

I also happened to spot a store with a standard glass height and tilt adjustable display that I grabbed and it should be delivered on Wednesday, so I think I got lucky there. I'm not sure why they suddenly showed one in stock but it was the only one they had and I've not seen any of them anywhere since then, with June stated as the expected availability date.

Support told me that orders whose shipment is blocked will be processed first, so we just have to wait.

Kind of a random question, but for those who ordered and received their Studio Displays…did anyone find an Apple Polishing Cloth in the box? Some of the unboxing videos on YouTube mentioned that the cloth was included with the display, but I didn't find one. It may have just been included with the review units that Apple sent out, but I'm just curious.

It is included only in the model with Nanotexture

It appears that Apple may be making some headway on the backlog.

Delivery window for the Max in my signature when I ordered it on April 1: June 27-July 11
Delivery window if I ordered it today (April 16): July 12-July 27

Looking for my delivery window to move sooner :)
I haven't had coffee yet but I don't know what about that timeline gives you optimism. You just showed that if you order two weeks later, you're expected to receive it two weeks later.

My Ultra 20/64 128 4TB shipped on 4/13 and was expected in New York on 4/15 afternoon. Delivery originally quoted at Apr 20 - Apr 27. Status is still showing in HK, and UPS now says delivery date will be provided soon. Sucks.

Earlier post:
UPS Live Chat just confirmed it cleared customs and will arrive on Monday.

Current status:
UPS status hasn't changed and still shows the package is in HK. I spoke to a UPS agent today (4/17) and they told me it still hasn't cleared customs and will likely do so on 4/18, with me receiving it on 4/19. That timing seems optimistic. The agent said the delay was due to bad weather, and didn't respond when I suggested maybe it's Covid-related.

The root cause for delay doesn't seem clear, so delivery timing won't be certain until it actually arrives on my doorstep. Funny, what is certain is that my CC was charged and the AppleCare coverage period is active.

Previous discussions about the return period suggest that if you call Apple, it will adjust the start date of your Apple Care coverage.

My 32gb 1tb Mac Studio arrived this afternoon after having a delivery date of 12th to 22nd April. More surprisingly it was delivered on a Public Holiday Monday here in Australia.

Hello everyone, news on shipments from Shanghai to Europe?
Yes! Mine has just arrived in Europe, wow in Paris. Let's see what and when will happen next. At least it made its way over the oceans without any information in the TNT tracking.
