🌎 Mac Studio Pre-orders, Orders and Delivery Status Thread - All Countries (2022)

My Ultra 20/64 128 4TB shipped on 4/13 and was expected in New York on 4/15 afternoon. Delivery originally quoted at Apr 20 - Apr 27. Status is still showing in HK, and UPS now says delivery date will be provided soon. Sucks.

UPS Live Chat just confirmed it cleared customs and will arrive on Monday.

Finally started moving yesterday, and I got it this morning.

Arrived and as usual for Apple migrating from one machine to the new is painless. These computers are well packed, thick protective sides all around. Whoever came up with that design defiantly knew what they were doing. The shape reminds me of a shrunken down CDC Cyber 7600 Supercomputer. Or a Microvax workstation.

Looks like my Studio has departed Taiwan and shows "cleared import customs" as well. Will keep my fingers crossed to see if there's any status later maybe when that UPS flight gets on the ground.

Woohoo... My Studio made it to Anchorage on that UPS flight... Keeping my fingers crossed for Monday!

I don't think mine ever left. They can't tell me anything at Apple and they changed the order status from delivery on April 14 to arrival.

My initial delivery was expected for 22 to 28 of April. Shipping at 2nd of April. Status on Apple: Delivery delayed. They told me on the phone that I should expect the initial delivery period.

The initial delivery date was April 22-29, but in my opinion they have no idea when it will actually happen.

The delay due to the lockdown may be there but what I do not accept is the absence of communication from Apple. I did not receive any messages until the day scheduled for delivery and only following my reports decided to send me an email confirming the possible delay in delivery. We don't act like this especially if we talk about companies like Apple.

Totally agreed! In the order details they even do no show an estimated delivery date. Obviously they are no longer able to handle the situation!

You could file a investigation via AppleSupport , so the actually checking where parcel currently lies around.
I requested this 3 days ago (but they also told me that an investigation could last around 10 business days max.)

Just sent a Message to Apple Support on Twitter. How long did your parcel get stucked?

From experience, you need to call telephone support if you want an issue escalated. Twitter and Chat representatives have a limited “scope” of what they are authorized to do.

By the way, i ordered on March 9 (M1 Max, 32 GPU, 64GB, 2TB) with estimated delivery April 7 - April 14. It has now cleared customs and arrived in the USA, scheduled for delivery April 18.

My Studio is in the USA, departed Louisville, KY this morning and delivered by Monday!!!

By the way, i ordered on March 9 (M1 Max, 32 GPU, 64GB, 2TB) with estimated delivery April 7 - April 14. It has now cleared customs and arrived in the USA, scheduled for delivery April 18.

I know the 64GB Ram versions of the M1 Max took longer than other configurations.

I ordered March 9, and it left the factory in China on April 8, where it went directly to Hong Kong and sat for almost a week from April 9 until April 15.

I think it’s safe to assume I would have received it in the middle of Apple’s original April 7 - 14 estimate, but coronavirus lockdowns/slowdowns in Hong Kong were the primary reason for the delay In this case.

Agreed. Mine is stucked for 14 days now in Shenzen not in Hongkong.

I asked to start an investigation but the operator seemed lost. in essence he was unable to give me any indication.
