Ordered the base with 64gb and 1tb last Friday the 20th and it now says preparing to ship. Date says jul 8th though. So hopefully it will ship this week. They already charged me.🙄

My base model Max arrived yesterday (via Apple online) - ordered 13/05. Shocked how quickly it arrived considering the 3rd party seller I originally ordered with 2 months ago couldn't get it to me!
I think it was from local store stock as it literally arrived the day after being shipped - no parcel watching through China etc for me!

Last update from today says, the machine is still sitting in the HK ChekLab.

There's been a 2-3 day delay at Hong Kong airport for the last couple of weeks. You'll find several discussions about it in earlier posts. On the upside, this is an improvement over delays there of up to five days
My theory is that ending the delay at Hong Kong is complicated by the fact that there's an air traffic control safety limit to the number of flights that can depart each day (it's already the world's busiest cargo airport) and by the fact that UPS and DHL have a limited number of cargo aircraft. I don't think it's just a matter of adding more people on the ground to move cargo around the airport. That issue was addressed when Hong Kong started easing coronavirus restrictions over two weeks ago.

May 25th I got the notice of “shipment on the way” with an estimated delivery of today (May 27th).
This morning the delivery ETA has been updated to Tuesday May 31st.
Understanding the delays in HK we shall see if it updates again or not… I am excited and honestly surprised my order shipped so quickly but I still have to wait on the ASD to get to me so it is what it is. 😆

As of now, my Ultra has finally departed HK, gone on to Taiwan, and has departed there too. I believe that means that the next stop is Anchorage. Someone correct me if I'm wrong... Delivery date is still shown by UPS as Tuesday.
Flight time to Anchorage is like 9-1/2 hours, so it should touch down there sometime after 3pm today, if I've done the math right. From there I'm not sure where it will head.

I expect that your Ultra is on the flight in the first screen capture, and will continue on to Louisville in accordance with the second screen capture. UPS may tell you that your order has cleared US customs during the Taiwan > Anchorage leg. The screen captures are from Flight Aware.
If UPS Tracking has a departure time for Taiwan that differs by an hour or so, the below, which is live, is correct, and UPS's tracking is wrong. I noticed on my own UPS Tracking that UPS initially showed the right departure time and then changed it to a later time that was incorrect. If I recall, it did the same thing for the Anchorage departure. Don't know what that's about.

Thanks, F-Train. I'll keep an eye on those. Pity that UPS doesn't deliver on Sundays or holidays, even though mine is set for Express Delivery. Anyway, I hope some of the other guys have their Ultras on the same flight.
In Louisville, UPS will put your Ultra on a UPS connecting flight early tomorrow (Saturday) morning to an airport in the vicinity of wherever you live. Depending on your location, you may get delivery tomorrow.
My Max arrived in Louisville around 1 AM EDT, as yours should, and was put on a UPS flight to JFK that arrived around 6 AM or so. UPS delivered my Max in New York at 10 AM EDT.
A person in Denver whose Max was on the same Hong Kong > Taiwan > Anchorage > Louisville flight as mine also received his Max in the morning, before 11 AM MDT.
