Negative. Zero luck with many different cables, power cycles, rebooting. Won't accept either of my devices as an input. Unfortunately I don't have any old wired mice or keyboards laying around

Dumb question but have you flipped the switch on the side of the KeyChron to put it into wired mode?

Ordered the best Ultra with 128 and 8tb SSD and a couple of ASDs. Ordered through the edu store which saved me some bucks but it appears as though Apple places less priority in the edu orders as the expected ship was like 3 weeks longer than if hadn’t used it.

I just priced a Studio Max ... the only upgrade was for a 4TB hard drive ... delivery date is April 19-26 on both the Edu and Apple sites .....

Was woken up at 5 this morning by our dog, checked the local Apple Store (UK) and they had the base Mac Studios available for pickup and the base Studio Display.
Just checked again now, seems no Apple Stores anywhere in near 50 miles has the Mac anymore and I need to go 40 miles to Brent Cross in London if I want to get the display.
So seems yesterdays reviews haven't put anyone off.
Was the Mac Studio with M1 Ultra available yesterday when you checked?

I'm not sure if they ran out of stock or they didn't have any stock of it to begin with...

I guess that before mine ships, you'll all be gone and replaced with new folks with delivery dates similar to mine (June 1 - June 16).
mine is due 10 Jun - 22 Jun so I'll see you back here in 11 weeks time :)
Looks like we're here for the long haul... Misery loves company after all

My M1 Max base +1TB SSD has been stuck on "Preparing to ship" since Tues :( It says "Arrives Mar 30 - Apr 6"

My Studio Display (normal glass/tilt) hasn't moved from Processing yet. "Arrives Mar 24 - Mar 30" (US - Minnesota)

Patience is NOT my strong suit.

Hmm. I'm not sure which Apple to believe anymore. When I got the email on the 17th stating my order had shipped, that email said I'd be receiving my Studio on the 25th. If I go to the Apple Store website to check my order status, it says "arriving soon." The Apple Store app, however, says 25 March - 30 March. I guess the last two are technically the same, and the first one does meet the terms defined by the latter two, but it'd be nice if they were more in sync. My tracking info showing nothing more than a scan on the 17th, so I guess I'm going to have to wait for that to update to get a more precise arrival date.

The base M1 Ultra was available at Apple Stores in New York yesterday morning. They sold out fairly quickly. At 4 PM, my local Apple Store was the only one of the 12 NYC stores that had a base M1 Max. That's when I bought one, presumably one of only a few units left. When I checked this morning, all NY Apple Stores were sold out of both models.

I have the same exact products as you and had the same delivery dates for each. On launch day I picked up the display in store and cancelled my order. Now I’m just waiting on the M1 Max base + 1TB SSD. Still showing Mar 30 - Apr 6, but hasn’t moved to “Preparing to ship”.

My M1 Max that I ordered last Tuesday also says "Arrives Mar 30 - Apr 6" except mine still says Processing!! So not cool.

Yup. I grabbed an Ultra in NYC, ordered just before 9am on launch day when they were available at many NYC stores and I think mostly gone a few hours later. Can't open it yet until I'm sure my tax exempt status will be applied properly from corporate...and then I can cancel my online order that wasn't due to arrive for about a month.

Does anyone have an earlier delivery estimate than 29 March - 5 April for M1 Max base? Just trying to work out who’s next after the launch day deliveries on the 18th.

I didn't see any Ultra's available in my local area ( approx 45 miles north west of London). So it might have been only the London stores has a couple and they sold out immediately ? or more likely, UK didn't get any and only some available in major cities in US ?

For the record, I don't think Apple's definition of preparing to ship and mine are the same.
My thought as well. Mine originally had a March 18 date and said "preparing to ship", now it's still "preparing to ship" but the date has changed to the March 30-April 6 window.

In the past, early first-day orders arrived on launch day, so I expected it to show up on the 18th. "Preparing to ship" usually mean t it was queued up to get on a plane to the US. Disappointed that it's still sitting around somewhere in China.

Plus, all of the Boston-area Apple Stores sold out of the ones available in-store yesterday, so I'll have to just sit tight.

I do have a lovely new keyboard, though, which I'm getting practice typing on. All the years of MacBook keyboards makes me stumble around hunting for the Fn key on this one, which I didn't realize I used so much.

There were base ultras at Stratford and Lakeside, but nothing further out from London like Reading, Basingstoke etc

I think someone said "preparing to ship" was when the machines go through their initial "burn in" testing period, so it's been manufactured but not packaged.

Crap, I should have woken up for Stratford...
