Not to mention $6+ a gallon for gas.I ordered in New York just after 4 PM EDT. The nearest Apple store is delivering a base M1 Max to me between 5 PM and 7 PM. Delivery is $9, which is less than it would cost me to park if I drove to the store.

I ordered a 64-core/128GB/8TB moments after launch and it was listed to be delivered Monday, but made it today. Alas, I am in Florida on a vacation, so there's a new Studio Display and Studio sitting unloved until Monday. I needed a second one for an employee at my business, and was hoping to snag a base Max at a local store, but forgot to check until 10 am and by then the only thing available was a base Ultra, so I grabbed that. Shortly after there were none at any Apple stores in a 100-mile radius. Glad I grabbed it! I did see the Studio Display in the store and it was really nice. It's a beautifully-made metal version of the cheap plastic LG UltraFine, with much better sound and video (although I will have to see what happens with the camera in any upcoming updates as apparently it's only so-so right now, but that's better than the lower-quality LG camera).Any non base model Ultras getting delivered today?
That's pretty funny. I've been shipping with UPS for years and I never knew you could do that.
Was there ever any doubt? It arrived. Mine says assembled in china.
Apparently some are being assembled in Malaysia. Was there ever any doubt?
Exactly the same dates, spec & limbo as meMy order still seems to be stuck in limbo in Shenzhen. M1 Ultra 48/64/2TB ordered as soon as the store came up at 1909 UK time. Originally said March 21-22. Changed yesterday to March 28th and given tracking info to say it had been picked up in Shenzhen. Nothing since.
Mine updated a short while ago to say "Arrives Mon Mar 28" instead of "Arrives March 28". Which feels like it's doubling down on the week long delay. DHL still has the same lack of info other than "19:48 Local time | Shipment picked up" on 17th March in SHENZHEN.Exactly the same dates, spec & limbo as me
Yeah, it seemed to take about half an hour to get here from a few hundred yards down the road. Fortunately I was a little too busy to worry about it.That might be an exercise in frustration. The UPS truck has been circling the area, never more than an eighth of a mile from my house, for the last 90 minutes.
If the process is similar to the latest MBP's and since you're receiving it at Europe, you'll be w/o updates till the package lands, usually in Eindhoven, DHL kept us blind since they create the label till the plane arrives, that tends to take 4-6 working days, once it's in The Netherlands, you should get an SMS from them, after that, expect 24-48h delivery.Mine updated a short while ago to say "Arrives Mon Mar 28" instead of "Arrives March 28". If you have any wired keyboard, you can use that to set it up initially.View attachment 1976334
Can’t use my new Max Studio bc I don’t have proprietary apple mouse/keyboard to get past the initial startup screen. So now I have a $2k monitor stand! Take that apple xdr pro stand!
(Using 14” mbp with display)

Negative. Zero luck with many different cables, power cycles, rebooting. Won't accept either of my devices as an input. Unfortunately I don't have any old wired mice or keyboards laying aroundJust plug the Mouse and Keycron keys with usb cable and done. The Mac Studio will recognize them.
I setup mine with Logitech Keys Keyboard and MX Mouse without any issues and was wireless using the receiver.Negative. Zero luck with many different cables, power cycles, rebooting.
