Patiently waiting for UPS today! My display order hasn't been charged yet so I checked local stores. Looks like they have plenty of tilt adjustable displays but not the VESA mount. So I'll be rolling with a cheap LG for a bit.

On the setup - it was asking for keyboard and mouse the bluetooth ones from apple and since didnt have any, and use the old apple wired ones, I had to connect that for now.

Also noticed when i connected my benq sw271 which is my second monitor via hdmi, the screen was going off and on every 5 seconds. So could be the hdmi cable. I will use my cinema display for now to setup up.

I was going to set mine up with Logitech MX Master, suppose that's not a problem

I also have a logitech wireless mouse however the setup screen kept showing the apple mouse and keyboard to connect to which i didnt have and not sure if it would have detected the logitech maybe could be wrong. having hardwired devices easier for me at this point.

Perhaps I will plug in my MX before powering up my Studio rather than worry about connecting it wirelessly right away.

If you sign up for UPS My Choice (free) you can usually see the 2-hour delivery window for your package.

It’s a 4-hour delivery window, for my Mac Studio, and a 3-hour 15-minute window for my Studio display.

Non-overlapping windows, strangely enough, even though they appear to be on the same truck. The display looks like it’s being delivered later because a signature is required, while no signature is required for the much-more-expensive Mac Studio. Weird.

I changed my mind a couple of times, so I'm relegated to the June 1 - June 16 window. I sure hope it comes before that. The UPS I ordered should be coming today and I picked up the Studio Display at the Apple Store today.

Mine still doesn't have an Out For Delivery scan ("On the way"), but UPS still says delivery by end of day Friday, March 18th; so holding out hope.

The 10-12 week delay sucks if you want to make a change it means wait till June.

June 21 now for Ultra M1 non base models.

I wonder if Apple is having supply issues with SSDs
The first two days after the launch, the 10-12 weeks estimates I saw were configuring anything with 64GB of RAM or beyond, 32GB RAM seemed to be out of this scenario. Even with M1 Max, jumping to 64GB leads to that wait :/

Only model is not affected by this is base Ultra cause uses 64GB by default (still, is close to 8 weeks of wait)

edit: Just tested to play around with SSDs sizes on base models and none of them increases the dates that much, just adds one-two more weeks to the original estimate.

I ordered in New York just after 4 PM EDT. The nearest Apple store is delivering a base M1 Max to me between 5 PM and 7 PM. Delivery is $9, which is less than it would cost me to park if I drove to the store.
