Unfortunately they are the base models and as the things aren’t upgradable I’ll probably go straight to apple and use PayPal credit but it might help others
My local UK store has the base model Max in stock but nothing else.
Very jealous of everyone receiving their Mac Studio's today! Ordered mine about half an hour after the event and it's currently due to arrive between 29 March - 5 April. Fingers crossed it's sooner rather than later 🤞
Got my Mac Studio (base spec) + Studio Display this afternoon and have just finished initial set up. So far so good! FWIW the camera seems fine to me, but I'm coming from a late 2015 iMac.
I think I’ll go for the base one as I have a ps5 for gaming and the main reason I’m getting one is for on line security and an updated os , my iMac late 2015 is still on mojave and from reading many worry os upgrade reports is going to stay there permanently ..

Very nice! Love the super-clean setup. But why didn't you route the two cables connected to the display's hub through the hole in the display's stand, so they aren't visible anymore?
Was woken up at 5 this morning by our dog, checked the local Apple Store (UK) and they had the base Mac Studios available for pickup and the base Studio Display.
Just checked again now, seems no Apple Stores anywhere in near 50 miles has the Mac anymore and I need to go 40 miles to Brent Cross in London if I want to get the display.
So seems yesterdays reviews haven't put anyone off.

Looks like none of the UK Stores have any Ultra stock at all for pickup today.
Can report that Hong Kong is absolutely out of all configs in all retail stores.
Mine will be delivered tonight at 21:30. That’s right, about 2,5 hours before midnight. DHL always sucks.
A few of them outside London (Brent Cross, Bromley, Lakeside) had Ultra in stock when I checked around 6am today. Looks like it's all gone now.
Mines coming this morning...however the studio display is not coming for another week or so. Called around local Apple stores and official resellers and none in stock so I guess I'll just leave my Mac Studio in the box.
I am still debating cancelling the studio display and going ultrawide, but i just cant settle on a display that has high resolution, the right connectivity, and actually looks good.

No normally they charge a couple of days before shipping. So if you device will be shipped from China April might make sense.
They put a holding charge on the card. Then, once it ships, the holding charge comes off and the money is actually taken after delivery.
Apple initially charged my credit card on the 10th, but apparently it took them too long to actually make the actual charge that the whole pre-authorization failed and I had to change my payment to my debit card in order to get anything moving. Maybe the fact that my computer got delayed from March 21-24 to April 1-5 was the reason why I got charged so early and it eventually failing. Now I just have two Apple pre-authorizations for a Mac Studio.
Very excited for you all today. I can't say I've seen any of the YouTube reviews go into any actual detail yet, but hopefully that happens over the weekend, maybe that's part of the embargo though.
My Studio made it to Quebec last night and received an Export scan this morning.
I have no expectations of receiving it today, but I do like surprises.

Looks like my Apple stores in the Orlando area only have the base models of the Max and Ultra. But I did snag the Studio Display for pickup today. I'm going to ask when I get into the store just in case they get a tricked out Ultra.
Does anyone know of a site that provides Apple inventory checks? I used https://www.istocknow.com/ in the past but it doesn't seem to work anymore.
Doubt I'll find a base Ultra with 4TB of SSD. More than likely all those are BTO.

Mac Studio base models are available for pickup at most Houston area Apple Stores. I’m going to keep my BTO order in as I need the 2TB internal storage.
