Can’t use my new Max Studio bc I don’t have proprietary apple mouse/keyboard to get past the initial startup screen. So now I have a $2k monitor stand! Take that apple xdr pro stand!

(Using 14” mbp with display)
Did you post this to show off your weirdo mechanical keyboard?

Mechanical keyboards are cool if you’re the one using them with noise canceling headphones. Absolutely hostile in any office environment and absolutely overstated.
Haha, yes, I'm one of the (awful) people who like clicky switches. There's absolutely no way I'd consider using a board like that in an office unless I wanted to be hated. Browns aren't any noisier than a lot of standard keyboards though.

I used to use Mac keyboards, like for 10 years. Then switched to Logitech MX Master 3 and loved it but just 3 months ago got a SteelSeries APEX Pro mechanical keyboard and all I can say is that I can't imagine myself going back to non mechanical keys. I send about 60 to 80 emails a day and mechanical keys are just the best for typing. It just brings back sweet memories of my beloved Commodore 64 computer and Macintosh Plus ;)

Back to topic, does anyone with March 30 - April 8 got their status changing from Processing to Ready To Ship? Mine still shows Processing with delivery date between April 1 - April 8.

If I had to look at that keyboard all day I'd have the same look on my face!
hahahah I agree this keyboard/mouse setup now looks less elegant with the new display and Mac studio in front of it. Doesn't look as out of place when it was in front of the LG ultra fine and its chunky black plastic stand/frame 😝

Mine shows March 23-30 delivery and it still says "Order in Progress" with the caption "Your order will be available soon."

What does that mean??? It's almost 3/23! Looks like it will be closer to 3/30 than 3/23.

Noticed that mine switched to, "We have everything necessary to complete your order. We’ll update your delivery date when your order is preparing to ship." It had said, "Your order will be available soon" for the longest time.

Also still processing. Mac Studio shows delivery window of March 30–April 6. Studio Display shows delivery window of March 31–April 7.

Also the same. April 1-5, still stuck at processing.

I had a pending charge put on my card on the 10th. Status changed to "preparing to ship" a week ago. Charge fell off my card mid-week and now I'm stuck in limbo with no other updates.

Hopefully those of us with delivery dates later than launch get some update this week.

Got my BTO Ultra delivered last night at 6:30pm after showing the 21st as the delivery date all week. Already had 12.3 pre-installed. Cancelled my nano-coating studio display order that was scheduled between the 30th - 6th and picked one up at a local apple store at noon. Super excited to have the weekend to play with it!

I'm on April 6-13 and still showing processing. I am guessing I will see movement on March 25th at the earliest if I'm lucky.

Yeah, I'm a developer and when I started using a mechanical keyboard it was like a lightbulb moment. I guess like when I first used the multitouch trackpads, it makes you appreciate the machine when the HID are completely attuned to you. I'd actually prefer a slower machine with decent input devices than some of the abominations I've seen in the PC world. My work laptop's (Lenovo e-waste-book) trackpad is infuriatingly bad, and it still has one of those keyboard nipple things *shudders*.

I decided to join the party today, after some contracts got the green light. Although I'm going to be haunting this forum until mid June by the looks of things. If anyone wants to cancel an order with my spec, I'd be grateful 😜

I'm so glad I contract, so I can actually make things a part company expense... the last time I had to go through a purchasing contract it was soooo painful

I ordered mine at 3:05 PM EST on March 8th, with M1 Max 32 Core, 32GB RAM and 1TB. For me they put a charge on my credit card a few days after but it got removed yesterday, or the day before.

It's under "Processing" it still says arriving March 30th-April 6th for me, I'm assuming because of the lockdowns in China it could take a little longer than that. I hope not though.

Mine still doesn’t have a date only says shipping in 3-5 business days. However, it doesn’t say when the 3-5 business days countdown starts.

For reference, I ordered an ultra 20/48/32 2tb.

It's been stuck in prepared for shipping for almost a week now. For the record, I don't think Apple's definition of preparing to ship and mine are the same.
