🌎 Mac Studio Pre-orders, Orders and Delivery Status Thread - All Countries (2022)

For some of us this is a patience test for sure. I wasn't going to order the Mac Studio until end of the year but decided to go ahead and order it even that I could have waited until the fall but now that I have ordered it, I want it fast, like for yesterday.... Also a test of patience because 7 of the 12 Houston's Apple Stores have the Mac Studio M1 Max Base model in stock but I don't want to give up to the 32 Core GPU and the 2TB SSD that I'm getting with my current order so here I am, waiting patiently for Apple to push my Mac Studio into the "Preparing to Ship" steep..... Hopping when I wake up tomorrow it's in that state

Mine is now holidaying in Shanghai too… Delivery isn’t expected until Monday though so I’m guessing it’s waiting to get on a plane to Europe over the next few days and then onto the UK over the weekend.

Mine has been stuck at Shipment Picked Up in Shenzen. Apple says delivery on April 6th. I hope it doesn't take that long. I wonder if it will move over the weekend?

Just got notification - Shipped

UPS states March 28 for delivery, but Apple Store states April 1.

Anyone else ordered from Germany?
My story is very frustrating. Ordered on the 8th, just minutes after the event. My original window was March 21-22. Then it was pushed back to April 1-6. Two days later it was pushed forward to the 28th again.

The frustrating thing is that is was apparently shipped on the 17th. Since then DHL says it's waiting for the package in the Netherlands.
I don't understand why it takes whoever delivers it from China 1+ weeks to ship something to the Netherlands. Especially now that I read many stories of you guys who got your orders within days of Apple stating that it was shipped from China.

Exactly the same story here! It takes at least a week to ship something from China to Europe. I don't know the reasons, but probably Corona..It's frustrating also because there are zero updates about the location of my package. The first updates will happen when DHL receives the package in Europe..
I suspect that there will be an update this weekend..It has to be if the Mac is to arrive on Monday the 28th..

But just an hour ago, I got a notification saying that it is in Shanghai and it’s delayed until March 28. And it seems like I’m not the only one.

It’s currently saying “it’s on its way”. UPS seems to be limiting its tracking history for me.

This was a great idea, if a little disheartening.

I normally order during the first few minutes after ordering starts, but had been waiting for the refreshed 27" iMac and it took me a little while to realize that this *was* the 27" iMac. Ordered two hour into ordering with a windows of Mar 30 - Apr 6.

Haha, yeah maybe. I've got another 3 months to wait, so it helps me feel included in the excitement a little. It'll be interesting to see how the late orders move as the estimated dates don't seem to be falling back too much now.

Given the mini-lockdown they had, maybe that's reasonable. I do wonder how long companies will be using COVID as an excuse for. After the initial chaos, most companies seem to have fallen into the under-promise/over-deliver pattern to avoid it.

There was a little excitement this morning: got a text from Apple that there was something wrong with payment. So I called Apple and it turned out that the reservation on my CC from Apple was only valid for 7 days, a new reservation was made on the CC after which the amount of reservation was now exceeding my limits.

Long story short: I fixed the limit-issue and the lady from Apple told me that my Studio would be sent from China right away. My shipment is currently being prepared so I hope it's smooth sailing from here...😃

I got the same thing. Also a fraud check from my bank. I'll call Apple this morning. I'm optimistic that I might get it next before the Apple date of April 7-14.

I got the same update overnight. Mine was originally planned for delivery today and shifted to Monday. I can't be too mad though. My original delivery window was from March 30-April 6. I just don't appreciate the tease.

My Base Max with 1 TB just changed to preparing to ship. Apple Original estimate 4-12 April. Not sure if it will arrive early now. If it’s coming from Shenzhen, just a short distance to Hong Kong

My UPS delivery scheduled for today (March 24) is now rescheduled to Monday (March 28). I don't have a lot of confidence that it will show up then, since Apple still shows a March 30-April 6 window. It also appears to still be stuck in Shanghai.

Do these require a signature? There won't be anyone home to receive the delivery on Monday, since I had planned for it to arrive today.

I doubt it is really still in Shanghai. Like iPhones, once they ship, things happen fast and not all get scanned at every stop and sometimes the scans lag by a day or two. If UPS still says it will be delivered tomorrow, it probably will be. Mine is showing the same status. Have faith!

Damn it. I really wanted to be right about this. However, mine is now rescheduled for March 28 too. However, my Studio Display moved to preparing to ship. Maybe they will both arrive together now… 4 more days.

Base Max model with 2 TB here. Ordered March 10 with a delivery estimate of April 8-15.

Apple Card charged and Apple Account Balance deducted at 3:54am Eastern this morning. I'm still seeing "Processing" as the status, though.

Anyone else seen this? (Card charged, but status still processing?) If so, how long did it take to move to "Preparing to Ship"?
