Where is it exactly now ?

In your country or overseas still ?

Customs cleared both countries?

UPS does not lie - they are very up to date with delivery estimates and will change due to weather, customs holds, international freight flights, etc...
UPS March 23rd - Delivery March 24th 1:00-5:00 PM
UPS March 24th - Delivery March 28th by 7:00 PM

in my book that is a lie by UPS.

Ooh Mac Studio is finally leaving Shanghai.

View attachment 1979357

@sfwalter question for you (or anyone else who's U.S. bound order has left Shanghai): What is the arrival city after leaving Shanghai?

I'm curious because looking a PVG to ANC departure schedule on FlightAware there are no direct UPS flights scheduled between PVG and Anchorage or Louisville. So I'm curious if the shipments are forwarded to another city before heading to the U.S. or, maybe UPS contracts a 3rd party carrier to fly them into Anchorage from Shanghai?

No movement on mine from Shanghai either! :( Wonder what the delay is?

UPS says my Mac Studio is arriving today, but the tracking info indicates it just cleared customs in Anchorage cleared customs this morning. There is no way it will get to me today, as it still needs to get to Worldport in Louisville first.

Tomorrow at the earliest, but knowing my luck probably not until Monday.

Apple still shows it will arrive on Tuesday. At this point it seems like Apple's info is more accurate than UPS's.

Just called UPS and they couldn't give me an answer. Seems like the UPS Shanghai hub has turned into a black hole, everything goes in and nothing comes out!
Typical delivery companies, they never know anything! Here's hoping we get some movement from Shanghai before the weekend 👌 I might have to start tracking flights at this rate! 😄

At least Amazon knows better when UPS packages will get to me than UPS does. If I order something, Amazon will say Thursday, UPS will say Tuesday. Then on Tuesday, UPS says Wednesday, and on Wednesday, UPS says Thursday. And the package will almost always be there on Thursday.

Since Amazon and Apple also have access to the tracking information, they probably can build a better shipping estimate than UPS if they so choose to.

Mine is also sitting in Shanghai. Delivery changed from today to Monday. Fingers crossed on that.

EDIT: Whoopee. It has finally departed from Shanghai.

Hey everyone, I’ve been lurking and you guys helped me so I thought I would share my experience so far.

I ordered a Mac Studio m1 max 64gb 1to right after the keynote (less than 5 minutes).
FYI, I’m in France. My order was order was supposed to arrive either the 21st or 22nd of March. Spoiler : it did not.

Order was processed on the 16th
Shipped on the 17th
Billed on the 19th.

To this day I still did not receive my mac studio. DHL is waiting to pick up parcel in the netherlands.
When I check my order status on my iphone or ipad (with the app), I’m being told that it should arrive between April 1st and 5th.
When I check through the website, it says Monday 28 of March.

I find it frustrating to have zero informations. Also 1 week to ship it from China seems like a lot.

What’s annoying in my case is that I’m trading my macbook pro and the 14 days window to send it has already started.

I’ve seen that many in Europe are in the same situation, so it’s reassuring at least.

I’ll update when I have more info.

Thanks :)

That's terrible... How has the 14-day trade-in period started? It's been my experience that it doesn't start until you receive the new computer... I'm trading in my Imac and have zero plans to do it until the Studio arrives.

It starts as soon as you receive the box to send it back and UPS delivered it to me last Tuesday.
If I need to, I’ll call them, but it’s going to be annoying.

I believe many European orders are stuck at that notification.
Mine also got stuck at March 17th and no progress from there.
but still says delivery at the 28th

If it's in AK today then you should get it tomorrow based on my own experience. The pinch point is always getting out of China. Once it's in the U.S. it's usually clockwork.

Just curious -- did your order go direct from Shanghai to Anchorage?

Also had an update yesterday that my Mac Studio was to be delivered today (24th), however mine too seems stuck in Shanghai – expected delivery just this got updated this afternoon to Tuesday (the 29th).

Shipment is via UPS (which are TERRIBLE here in Sweden, much better before when they used DHL...), but the updates seems to indicate that this a customs- and/or airport issue in China.

Initially the expected date was between the 21st of march to 8th of April (never seen such a span before from Apple), so 29th wouldn't be too bad in my case :)

I’m now showing a departure scan out of Shanghai - 3/25/2022 2:04AM (just over 48 hours after the prior Shanghai departure/arrival). Delivery still “scheduled” for Monday (previously today).

Same departure scan here and also scheduled for Monday delivery. Our studios must be siblings!
