Hey everyone, I’ve been lurking and you guys helped me so I thought I would share my experience so far.

I ordered a Mac Studio m1 max 64gb 1to right after the keynote (less than 5 minutes).
FYI, I’m in France. My order was order was supposed to arrive either the 21st or 22nd of March. Spoiler : it did not.

Order was processed on the 16th
Shipped on the 17th
Billed on the 19th.

To this day I still did not receive my mac studio. DHL is waiting to pick up parcel in the netherlands.
When I check my order status on my iphone or ipad (with the app), I’m being told that it should arrive between April 1st and 5th.
When I check through the website, it says Monday 28 of March.

I find it frustrating to have zero informations. Also 1 week to ship it from China seems like a lot.

What’s annoying in my case is that I’m trading my macbook pro and the 14 days window to send it has already started.

I’ve seen that many in Europe are in the same situation, so it’s reassuring at least.

I’ll update when I have more info.

Thanks :)
It seams like its the same for everyone in the EU (UK orders seam to be arriving normally).

No one can really do anything about it now and especially not if its the fault of Chinese authorities or airport management. However, we do need laws that companies are not allowed to charge your card, start warranty or return windows before the order was delivered. Let's see how quickly everything will ship from China then :p

The credit card is always charged before the item gets ready for shipment. Apple cannot just bill us after shipment. Imagine what would happen if payments wouldn't go through. It would be a logistical mess and Apple would never do that. Shipping from China always worked well, but the last couple of years and because of COVID the situation has gotten much worse.

Did anyone who ordered from Best Buy get a shipping notification? My Ultra shows 'Shipping by April 8'.
