Well mine finally left Korea 2.5 hours ago. Still having trouble believing that it will be in my hands 17 hours from now (east coast US). But I am still holding out hope.

Here is hoping too! The flight is scheduled to arrive to Anchorage by 10pm AKDT, leaving for Louisville at 11:47pm AKDT. Scheduled arrival time to Louisville is 9:19am EDT on Friday. From there I can't seem to find any UPS flight to any destination in the NE US. I guess we will see what happens tomorrow.

M1 Ultra base models are in stock in all Houston’s Apple Stores for pickup tomorrow. Almost cancelled my M1 Max 10/32/32/2TB but the extra $1200 is holding me back 
Also I want 2TB SSD instead of 1TB. Let’s see if my patience is strong enough to wait a few more days…… Hopping my order move to Preparing to Ship in the next couple of days as my delivery date is April 1 - April 8.

It blows my mind that these computers are even getting to us in this crazy world we’re currently living in. Kudos to all the women and men that are so dedicated to their jobs that they’re able to keep things moving along and allowing us to have some semblance of normality.
We have a war going on in Europe, flight paths changed due to safety, a COVID outbreak in the heart of Apple’s manufacturing facilities in Shenzhen, and outbreaks near majors ports of Qingdao, Shenzhen and Shanghai, limited number of flights to transport goods, and temporary lockdowns to safeguard employees.
Take all of this together and somehow, Max, Ultra and Display are still arriving to customers around the world. My deepest appreciation to all the people involved for allowing us to indulge in this pleasure at this very challenging time for the world. 🙏 🙏 🙏

Mine finally left Shanghai last night, landed at Seoul, departed from Seoul and I assume it's on the Seoul-Cologne flight. If so, I have a tiny hope that if it reaches Cologne at 6pm today and goes to the UK on the Cologne-STN flight tonight it can be delivered tomorrow as UPS likes to deliver on Saturdays in the UK.

Not sure why UPS sent UK deliveries to Shanghai. Hong Kong is next to Shenzhen and they have direct Hong Kong-STN flights.

Yeah I think it’s strange too! In past whenever I’ve tracked iPhones or Macs etc from China they’ve never gone via Shanghai…
How long after order goes to Preparing to Ship you guys got the tracking info showing up in your UPS My Choice account?
Preparing to Ship usually lasts 24-48 hours from what I've gathered. US customers tend to get tracking information from China, the ROTW seem to get vague information until its either in your region as it might be handed to a different courier who give better granularity. However, I've been given the consignment numbers by apple support in the past, you just have to be super nice to them and hope they're not in a bad mood.

Yep. My tracking still shows delivery today, but that's impossible now, if it ever was possible. Just waiting for the shoe to drop; i.e., reschedule email from UPS. Two #1 seeds were knocked out last night, but fate was not on our side here. At least we know the exciting conclusion is in sight.
For both my Studio Display, which shipped from PA, and my Mac Studio coming from China, I did not have My Choice visibility or get a notification email until my status went to "Shipped." Time at "Preparing to Ship" was 2 days for the monitor, but it was a launch day delivery, and a week for the Mac which is now enroute. However, the My Choice notification came hours before Apple's "shipped" email.
UPS is quick to send a rescheduled email when bringing the delivery date forward (e.g. when our Studios made the timely flight out of Incheon), but is very slow to send a rescheduled email when the delivery will be delayed, even when there is no chance (e.g. sitting in Shanghai the morning of a Northeast U.S. delivery; sitting in Alaska this morning).
I always hold out hope that UPS knows more than me (perhaps it’s tracking the packages as a group and not every one gets scanned) or that the scans are slow to update, but it’s a dim hope.
