It was in Korea at 10:00am on March 25th (at that time it was 5:00pm on March 24th in Alaska).

It arrived in Alaska at 11:45pm on March 24th.

It cleared customs (in Alaska?) at 9:59am on March 25th.
Time zone difference. There is 17 hours deference between Korea and Alaska. Curriers times are in Local Time format.

These are the UPS flights leaving Anchorage for Louisville later today. I hope our Studios make it out in one of them.

yee, when it has "shipped" 8 days ago but NO UPDATE the whole entire time it is very frustrating... :/
I'm on the same boat.
The "Shipped" status on the Apple Store is very deceiving because the package hasn't actually shipped... the label has just been created.

Is there tracking information that shows the location of origin?

How did you get tracking information if it still shows Prepping to Ship?
It showed up in UPS my Choice and now Apple has marked it as shipped. However, UPS only shows a label was created. I don’t know if it’s in Apple’s or UPS’s possession right now.

It’s shipping from Apple's warehouse in Tennessee.

This is a common retailer practice. Once an item is ready to go out the door, they declare it as "shipped". When you check the courier's website, it will say either that it doesn't have a record of the shipment yet, or that it doesn't yet have it, but a label has been created.

In my experience, this is standard practice, even if it's a bit irritating the first couple of times it happens to you :)

It has shipped but it hasn't arrived to The Netherlands..
Does the DHL tracking actually say shipped or just "Shipment information received"?

So you believe they're just hiding the actual status from us? My guess is that they're waiting for the machines to arrive from China and the label has been created automatically on the Apple Store backend.

I guess either option could be possible... big companies can pull the strings to have couriers conceal information about deliveries.

It says Shipment information received, which in this case means that the product has been shipped by a different company from China. If you call Apple Support they will explain it to you. (I have had this kind of experience many times in the past). So basically what happens on March 17th (in my case) was that the Mac Studio was shipped with a carrier service different than DHL. DHL was informed about an incoming package, thus creating a shipping label. We as customers (unfortunately) get informed only about this second stage of shipping and not about the first (shipping from China to Europe). This makes for a frustrating experience...
I had other deliveries which changed their status on a Sunday, and then got my Apple product the next day..
I would suggest we wait and see what happens this weekend and if there is an update. If not, I am of course calling Apple to ask about the status (but I wouldn't get my hopes up that I find out more about the status of my Mac Studio shipment).

You’re absolutely right.

When they say it’s shipped, it means, it will leave their warehouse within a few hours.
When we buy a cto computer from europe, my understanding is that often, UPS will take care of parcels from China to Koln - Germany and then several carriers take over.
If you’re like me, DHL is going to deliver my mac in the southwest of France, so when it was shipped, they created a label and they wait for the parcel to arrive. From there it should take 1-2 business day to be delivered.
That’s why we don’t have any informations.
Hopefully, by midnight, we should know more. Otherwise, there’s no way we get it by Monday.

That's interesting and makes total sense actually, since I can't imagine Apple wants to have people driving packages every single day.

I really miss the days when Apple would ship to us Europeans straight from Shenzhen... if I recall correctly the last time I ever had that happen to me was with the iPhone X...

To be fair to Apple/DHL this is most likely due to the whole shutdown going on in China :/
What I don't understand is why I'm getting two different delivery days which are seven days apart (March 29 and April 4/6)

When tracking shows "Origin Scan" it means UPS has picked it up. Until then it's still waiting to be picked up. BUT... tracking is often delayed, so it's possible UPS already picked it up but the tracking won't show until tonight. That happened w/ my Studio Display. Tracking # showed up around 3pm but "Original Scan" didn't show until around 8pm even though the Original Scan showed p/u happened around 6pm.

So yours should get picked up today for Monday delivery.

No, I'm saying that this is standard practice in retail. I think that most customers who regularly order online are well aware of the fact that an item may be on "shipped" status as soon as the shipping label is made.

Oh, that!

Yeah no I know that, but I'm just saying I can understand how someone would be confused by the fact that something says shipped and then doesn't move for weeks on end.
Then again I guess you can argue it is actually shipped, just from the factory and not the courier whose job is to ship it to you.
