Yeah just restart it and leave it to idle for a while, you'll that the result will be a good deal higher in the region of 3K.

Your version of the OS looks like its before the supplemental update. Run software update from the System Preferences and then try it.My cinebench on the stock 8 core mbpro is 2580, on a dining room table, able 75F in here. Seems low comparatively to others. Thoughts?
probably indexing files. that happens for a while before it calms when you first get it. Assuming you transferred data.Just bought a I5 13" 256GB 16GB MacBook Pro TB 2019. Have not owned a MacBook in 6 years, and I am happy with it as it stands. Think the keyboard is ok so that is not a problem for me. Screen is very good, and a fast SSD. But I HATE the fact that I have to use adapeters for everything. And I am a bit skeptical to temps... As I write this I only have safari with Adblock open, and it is 67-68 degrees Celsius according to Istats.. Does that sound normal for MacBook Pro? (the reason for downloading Istat was because the fans is spinning a bit to loud, so I just wanted to check this out.
Edit: Had to add screen size and screenshot

Right, my 3029 score was after supplemental update and turning off Dropbox that will need to run for a week anyway. Ran 3-4 more times and similar score. If it should do better, it might be worth turning off indexing.Your version of the OS looks like its before the supplemental update. Run software update from the System Preferences and then try it.
You sure bout that w supplemental? Our OS builds are different..Right, my 3029 score was after supplemental update and turning off Dropbox that will need to run for a week anyway. Ran 3-4 more times and similar score. If it should do better, it might be worth turning off indexing.

oh ok thats right. hmm.I'm on 10.14.5, what's your version?
(and in cinebench adds it's Build 18F203)
No more updates available on this side.
Oh I thought you had 2.4. I think you're results look about right for 2.3.Not getting as high as I thought Geekbench scores, what do you think? I have the 8 core, 512gb model... thought it should be more in the 31,000 range or am I mistaken?
Knew I shouldn't have bought this thing in Portland, OR (haha...j.k)
I hope you mean 8, and if thats the case with a 2.3 yes thats on par.So is a CB score of 3035 dual core acceptable? seems so... although others are seeing a little higher, not significantly so.
Yes I have the 2.3oh ok thats right. hmm.

Could you run that Cinebench with something that shows voltage, like iStatMenu? The 2.4 is undervolted by 65mV or so, just wondering if 2.3 is the same.Yes I have the 2.3
You gotta tell us how fast it is. If it’s the 2.4 yeah i posted some results maybe around page 3.Recent picked up 2019 13" i7, 16, 1tb. Geekbench 4 scores 5620/19010 and Cinebench score of 1738. Anyone else have this configuration and have benchmarks for it?

Yeah. You know... I don’t have that option on this machine as I bought it through Apples EPP (friend) and even if I did I still love it enough to keep it.Yes, but I returned it today. So it's not w/ me anymore. Gonna wait until end of October and see whether that 16" mbp w/ oled display is really coming or not. 7 new macbooks coming got me really excited.
