Oh Canada!
Very good quality. They've thought of everything from having a strap to get your bag from the luggage rack to a hard-material space for your sunglasses.

Just got the bag (Thule crossover) yesterday and love it. It's the perfect size, as I was looking for a sleek bag, but roomy enough to fill it up for a day trip when needed. The build quality is top notch and would recommend it to anyone.

----------

Just got this in the mail... 5 days after the expected delivery (stupid eBags) and the bag is so low quality, I don't know how it got the reviews that it did?

This is the 3rd backpack I've tried... now I'm looking at the Timbuk2 Swig (pictured). It seem's a bit pricey but if its what I want (small - retina, iPad, power cord, mouse and a textbook or two) then it'll be worth it.

Any one have this bag?

As a slight recommendation the Thule crossover is sleek but can fit what you have mentioned in it. It has side straps that can adjust the size of the bag to your current needs. The build quality is solid. Might want to take a look at it.

InCase has confirmed that the will NOT be adapting their Perforated hard case (it's pretty amazing for other models) for the MacBook Pro with Retina Display for the foreseeable future. &#&%%$!@!!!!

So I'm still looking for a snap-in, great feel, protects without harming, sleeve of that kind.

Incase shoulder bag

Hello everyone, I've been a long time MR reader but never been a poster. I wanted your opinion on this, I'm getting my Mbps in about 3 weeks, 2.7/16g/512. I was thinking of ordering the Incase Heathered Shoulder bag. Any of you guys seen it or tried it? Do you think it will fit the mbps nicely? I like simple designed bags that also have a bit of extra space for 1 or 2 notebooks I carry sometimes.
Any comments appreciated, thank you very much.

Until I find a nice case, I bought a neoprene 15" black sleeve in poundland - for those not in the uk - its a shop where every item is 1 pound.

It actually is a perfect fit and works a treat!

So if you need a cheap case while you find that perfect one - poundland maybe the solution!

Funny seeing a £2k laptop in a £1 case.

Just bought this from etsy.. need the sleeve for airport scan. Most of the officers adjust the laptop on the tray very harsh

Hi. Thanks to your post it led me to their Etsy page and I saw all sorts of cutesy stuff. I ordered one from them and they are in the process of making it. Once again thank you! No more searching for a sleeve! Yay!

Here's what I got, it looks gorgeous and I'm sure the wool is quality. :D

Your welcome! It's a pity they don't do horizontal sleeve. I prefer horizontal :p

Just ordered the Ogio RSS Squadrion II in the celebrity color (black was out of stock...which is what I wanted but didn't want to miss the chance to use the coupon code.)

It was a pretty cool deal since I got it for 40% off. Use the coupon code: baddeley.

It seems like it has a lot of padding inside of the backpack, especially on the bottom. This has bene hard for me to find in backpacks, so I'm pretty excited.

Thanks so much for that code!!!!!

I was able to purchase the Renegade for $90 way cheaper than Amazon.

Rickshaw bags shipped me mine last monday through Fedex home delivery... It was scheduled for today (saturday).... It was in transit from Reno, NV (headed to SC) from Monday until yesterday. This morning it just left GA, and the schedule is now for Tuesday. Not sure if I should be miffed at Rickshaw for going budget on shipping, or at Fedex for sucking monkey nuts.

I used to have a Solo Vintage Backpack (which fits my Macbook Pro retina very nicely) but then was thinking that during some occasions (formal ones), a messenger type would be more appropriate bag to carry my macbook.

Thus, I purchased Solo Messenger Type and it was simply awesome!

It has many pockets and ample space. It's a good alternative to may Solo backpack.
