Does anyone know when or if Urban Armor Gear is going to come out with their case for the new 2016 MacBook Pro 15" with Touch Bar?

Or, if there is a case out there that functions similarly?

I will be using my MacBook Pro at the race track for data analysis and will be moving it back and forth from my race car to the trailer or garage. I would like to protect it and I don't care to much about looks. I will need to be able to attach the HyperDrive TB3 hub I have coming as well.

Thanks!

Yeah, I-Blason refunded me because they thought it got lost too. Ended up showing up a few weeks later.

Hey you guys with the I-Blason hard cases, do you have a sleeve or bag that you're using?

I have the same hard shell case, and I'm looking for a perfect fit sleeve that holds a charger.

Hi. What color did you get? I have the space gray too and want to be able to see the color. Is "frost" the best option?

Finally got my i-Blazon hard shell case today for my 15" Space Gray. I was apprehensive because I bought it from Amazon when they first put it on the store and it had zero reviews. Took forever to get here.

I must say, I'm surprised at the quality. It arrived in a very nice box. The case itself is a very nice quality plastic. It's a bit thick, but doesn't feel brittle at all. I've had Speck cases that have cracked and fallen apart after not very long. It's a nice soft touch plastic and has a bit of flex to it so it is easier to take on and off. The bottom case has rubberized feet so that provides quite a bit of grip.

All ports are accessible and there are ventilation holes on the bottom.

There's also no massive logos on the lid like other options. There is a small logo in the bottom corner but it is hard to notice.

Overall very happy. Half the price of a similar Speck case.

The case took FOREVER to get here as I purchased it directly from the seller and they shipped it via painfully slow DHL (Shipped on Nov 22, arrived here today). HOWEVER, I see now that the product is now shipping from Amazon directly, so that's great, especially if you have Prime.

I found a boy version! Can you tuck those handles in if you don't need them? And does it really fit nicely? There's nothing that will bother me more than excess space! You seem the creative type, maybe a pic or 2? o_O

Fits great side to side IMO. There is a little room from top to bottom. Ill try and get a couple pics later for you. And yes, handles slip inside if you prefer not to use them. I also have this same case for my iPad Pro. Its held up great.

Has anyone received the Harber one yet? I ordered the Black full leather one. https://www.harberlondon.com/collections/macbook/products/slim-leather-macbook-sleeve-case
Should be getting it after xmas.

How are you liking this case? I am very interested in it even though I will be ordering from the U.S. Would love to hear yours (and anyone else with this case) thoughts!

I would love to let you know but I still have not received my case yet. It seems to be taking a long time to reach Sydney. But from the images hulkk posted it looks great.

An Aussie... :-( You're so lucky to still have Crumpler there. I wish we still had crumpler in the US. Every sleeve I've ever had for my Mac products has been Crumpler, but then about 2 years ago they closed shops in the US, and now it's insanely expensive to ship stuff here from AUS. Not a huge deal, but the problem is I'm not sure which of the Crumpler Fug sleeves is that "perfect fit" for the tbMBP 13" and without having a store to go to, it's next to impossible to find out.

Just bought my first Crumpler item (albeit not a sleeve) and I am so impressed so far! People in the store were fantastic and very helpful - I know what you mean about shipping though. It's always the same the other way too :(

I do like it. In my opinion it has one of the best values regarding price and materials/quality. Previously I had Joli originals sleeve and it's price for the current model is almost double the price of Harber London. The quality and materials are quite identical in my point of view.

Haven't had time to travel with the new sleeve yet. But the fit is very good, not too stiff or not too loose.

Is it worth putting a hard case on your MacBook Pro when it's sitting on your desk?

Probably not, if that's the place it's going to be almost all of the time. Those of us who use cases do so to protect against scrapes and dings that may happen moving the computer around. including putting it into and removing it from bags.

For those of you with the I-Blason hard case on your 2016... Do you ever worry about the weight and stress it puts on the hinge? I'm worried that the hinge will start flopping down over time, like it does on my wife's 2011 MBA.

The case is awesome though. Really good quality and perfect fit. Feels so nice and I feel much safer!

I was going to buy one of those tech 21 hard cases for £60 which covers the Mac whilst it's on the desk...?
Do you think it's worth getting?

Been seeing a lot of posts recently about the Harber London case, which does look really nice.

Does anyone have Picaso Labs or Mission Leather cases that they could chime in on for the new MB Pros? I had a dark brown Mission Leather case for my MBA before it got stolen a month ago, which I liked. Just looking at other alternatives for a change.

Has anybody ordered from DBrand before? If so, how long do they take to ship? I ordered a bottom and top skin in matte black at the start of December but its not shown up yet.

And still no word on properly fitted InCase sleeves yet either which is a shame.
