Just got me a gray Incase Slim Sleeve for MB 15", and I find it fits the 15" MacBook Pro 2016 well. There is a small gap to the Zipper, but the MacBook is not very loose at all.
It slides slowly inside the sleeve, if you rotate the it head up/down, but not in a negative or unsecure way. Personally I find this gap useful, because it keeps the zipper away from scratching along the MacBook while zipping.

I've received mine, the same as you, but in different color. I'm disappointed. If the MacBook moves, it can enter in contact with the zipper. The Tucano Second Skin that I still have for my 11 MacBook Air is less premium but finally better : the design of the sleeve don't allow the Mac to touch the zipper at any time.

It's sad because the quality build seems fine, the interior - made with "fake fur" - is very nice and the gap is not that much of a problem (not at all, actually).

I'm gonna get it back to the Apple Store.

Bought a Caison 11.6" Sleeve on Amazon (amazon.com/dp/B01ANGVE7S) for my 13" MacBook Pro 2016 nonTB. Its fit is amazing, almost too good.

In Amazon's German review section (amazon.de/gp/product/B01C8ENY7G) someone posted a picture of case + MB inside. No space left for slipping, but right on the edges.

That does sound good!

What do you mean with "almost too good"?
Do the zippers scratch on the sides?
Is there enough space to put some small stuff in the side pocket? Like adapters or so?
It sounds so promising...
Right now I have that INATECK sleeve 13.3 inch mentioned earlier (https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01D...-13.3+inch&dpPl=1&dpID=612SkLl5z4L&ref=plSrch) but I think it is to big... better then nothing though. But I really want a snug fitting sleeve...;-)

After finding my North Face Recon backpack being a little too bulky to use as a standalone laptop backpack, I decided to get a Timbuk2 Parkside in Abyss color. I was debating on this one and some NF backpacks, but the NF did not have a water bottle holder.

The Parkside is a great laptop backpack-- it has just the right amount of compartments, and is spacious yet slim. It fits the 15" MBP quite well, and I feel pretty safe tucking my MBP in without a sleeve. As an added bonus, there's a bottle opener built onto one of the straps.

I would like to see more padding on the straps-- they're pretty thin. But aside from that, no other major complaints.

Incase dropping the ball, and no one is picking up the slack :(

Any good thin sleeves for the 15 inch tbMBP yet?

I flip through the past dozen of pages in this thread and didn't see anything that seemed "right".

The zippers do not scratch the MacBook's edge. On each side there is some protection --> that beige stuff between MB and zipper as seen on amazon-picture.
But... "Almost too good" due to the fact while closing the sleeve you need to take care that the beige border is well placed over the macbook... because otherwise, i reckon, there will be some scratches sooner or later...

I put the Apple USB-C to USB Adapter in the front pocket and guess the other AV adapter will fit aswell. But from my point of view it is slightly too tight for the power adapter - doesn't look good if you push it in that pocket ;)

^^I'm in the same boat, I'm still deciding but my top 2 are the Harber London slip in case and the Pack & Smooch (Hampshire). There both pretty pricey. The link you posted above the only concern is will the sides start to flap up over time (see middle picture on you link). Look how it's already raised up on the sides.

I'm leaning more to the Hampshire, it seems to have a better flap being secured on both sides to prevent any flap. I also like that you can plug in while it's in the case, another plus is that there is an extra pocket to hold the charger and power brick for traveling. I also like the anthracite dark brown color. I know some here have this case and wonder how it's been holding up with a month into purchase and use.

I ordered the barber London slim leather MacBook case. Hopefully I will receive it in the coming week. Will post an update about how it holds up, because I will use it every day.

Thanks so much for posting! I've had a few WaterField cases before and have been very happy with the quality. Had an incase sleeve for my 2012 retina MBP (mostly because it was cheaper) but I'm not happy with how they are handling sleeves for the new MBP so I'm excited to go back to WaterField. Was having a hard time choosing between black and waxed canvas for this one - your photos have convinced me to go with black! Looks slick, and I think it will match the space gray better than the waxed canvas will. Also, got to use Touch ID on my MBP for the first time to order it

One question - did you ask for them to use a different logo on that badge? The pictures on the website show it with their logo, but I think it looks better on yours. Thanks!

Hi @doctorrock. Thanks for the nice reply. Glad my post was helpful!

I did not ask for a different logo, so perhaps they have updated it since making the website photos for the SleeveCase. Whatever the case, I am definitely happy with it. Last week I hung it over my shoulder, 15" 2016 MBP in the case and my power adapter and portable hard drive in the side pocket, and walked to a local cafe to do some work and life seemed so simple. It was so light and easy on my shoulder. Just FYI to you and others, the SleeveCase is thicker than your average sleeve - not overly so, but is a bit thicker than an Incase or similar one. It is more protective than those as well though, as a result. Cheers!

Great - thanks! Mine shows up Tuesday. Can't wait! Really dig the new logo on yours; glad it sounds like it's the new standard.

For those of you who have ordered cases and sleeves from Harber London, how long did you wait to receive yours?

I ordered my sleeve on January 9; according to the Royal Mail tracking information and the USPS site, it's still waiting to be shipped from Heathrow. I've emailed the company and William promised to follow up or ship a replacement.

I'll be happy to post a review when mine arrives!

Hey guys.. I tried searching through this thread but couldn't find if anyone has tried the Caison 14" Sleeve for the 15" MBP? Seems like the dimensions make it a perfect fit. I noticed someone in this thread bought the Caison 11.6" Sleeve and it fit the 13" perfectly.

Since it doesn't seem like there's going to be any new ones, I'm looking for an alternative to Incase's slim neoprene sleeve for my 13" tMBP. Hopefully the case will be made of neoprene (or similar material), have a soft lining, horizontal orientation, a zip, and be reasonably affordable. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

tomtoc, size for 2016 13", super soft fuzzy interior i haven't seen in sleeve before

So I just wanted to report back!
I just got the caison 11.6 inch sleeve for my tbMBP 13"...https://www.amazon.com/Caison-Desig...r=1-8&keywords=caison+11.6+laptop+sleeve+case
Since I got a little different design then the one mentioned above, I don't know if they fit exactly identically. (Though they are supposed to fit the same laptops like the DELL XPS 13 or surface Pro 3/4)
Mine fits just perfectly in my opinion! Also I don't think it is too tight or anything. Zippers are well protected and there is enough space to close it easily...
It is way better then the one I got from INATECK...It just fits...;-)
I like it a lot already. I am happy now...

Does anyone have any experience with the following bags for use with the TBMBP:

AER Duffle Pack https://bearandbear.com/product/aer-duffle-pack-24l/?gclid=CMnn08amx9ECFcW4GwodcL4Pkg

Goruck GR1 http://www.goruck.com/gr1-rucksack-black-/p/GEAR-000574

Both look like solid options but I have no experience with either brand. The GR1 claims the laptop department can withstand a bomb blast in (!) but I wonder what the fit is like. The AER is a more versatile work/gym bag and I have seen reviews state that it can accommodate the 2015 MBP at least.

So the 11.6" sleeve fits the new 13 inch MacBook Pro nicely? I'm struggling to find a case that is a nice snug fit for it.

How long did it take you to get yours from the day you ordered and shipped to ontario ? I just ordered one thanks to your review to BC.

Started a new job that requires a commute to London every 2 weeks for 2-3 days via Ryanair (from Ireland). I have my hand luggage + one extra bag. This bag can be 35x20x20cm (On the flights I've been on so far, it seems they are not too strict with this bag. Some of the women on the flight hand handbags about twice the height of my small gear bag).

What will need to be in the bag:

13 inch MBPr + charger (with extension adapter) + Anker PowerBank 5000 (quite small), lightning cable, pair of wireless sony headphones (they fold down quite small) and if possible my iPad mini 4 (not really necessary though).

Not picky on the style, either messenger back w/shoulder strap or as a small backpack is fine.

Would anyone have any suggestions?
