Any photos of it?I just received my Waterfield Dash sleeve. It fits my 14" like a glove and is extremely well made. I do wish it had a bit of padding at the bottom seam as I purchased a vertical configuration to fit in my backpack. Not a bid deal, though. All in all I'm happy with it.
Sure ...Any photos of it?
Thanks mate.Sure ...
Not really concerned about the open side. I'll only be using it when I travel and it's unlikely to get scratched while in my backpack. I suppose never say never but it is unlikely.
I've just tried shaking it upside down without actually holding on to the MacBook, rather holding on to the little bit of material at the end and it doesn't even budge at all. Can't ever see it falling out without actually pulling on the tabs at the top.Ok so no risk for it to fall out if your handeling upside down?
Don't sit on it?How do you guys stop your macbook from bending if it's stored in a backpack? This is generally why I avoid it.
I’m aware that I have a MacBook in there so I don’t trough it around. How do you guys stop your macbook from bending if it's stored in a backpack? This is generally why I avoid it.
I’ve never seen that happen and never crossed my mind. I’ve shoved my backpack carrying a MacBook under more airplane seats that I care to think about over the years. Never had a single issue. How do you guys stop your macbook from bending if it's stored in a backpack? This is generally why I avoid it.
I wrote an email to incase who told me new sleeves and cases won’t be available until march
Is this a common issue for you in the past? How do you guys stop your macbook from bending if it's stored in a backpack? This is generally why I avoid it.
I have been rolling with this backpack with little paddings and I have not broken my MacBook. Is this a common issue for you in the past?
I have been lugging laptops of all brands and sizes since the early 1990's and never once have I bent or broke a laptop while in a bag.
Maybe it is the backpack you have. Is it a proper laptop backpack or just a cheap one usually used by elementary school students? I have only used bags that had the proper padding for laptops, except for my Waterfield Muzzeto messenger bags (even then I never damaged any of my devices).
I asked at the Apple store when I was there and they advised against using it. It seems that you would have to force the MBP into the sleeve and the new feet on the bottom of the MBP would not line up.Does the Apple leather sleeve for the 2019 16-inch MacBook Pro fit the new 2021 M1 16-inch MacBook Pros?
So when I had my first 2012 retina I carried it around in a standard eastpack bag and the pressure against the screen caused it damage, I had to get it repaired under Applecare. Since then i haven't had the courage to stick it in a backpack and just hand carry. Is this a common issue for you in the past?

I would say that if you have a backpack with a padded laptop compartment, you will be ok.So when I had my first 2012 retina I carried it around in a standard eastpack bag and the pressure against the screen caused it damage, I had to get it repaired under Applecare.
