Just got the "UESWILL" Amazon case -- MUCH earlier than expected. Letting the plastic smell air out first, but first impression -- virtually identical to the Amazon "Ibenzer" frost case I already have. Will likely return one, if possible. They did give a few more "freebies" with this one, including a microfiber cloth + more sticky "feet" to put on the bottom of the case, which I appreciate.

But build quality seems thin and not very protective, like the Ibenzer. It's really just to prevent scratches, which is fine for the moment. View attachment 1918989

Actually more of a sling bag. I bought several for Xmas gifts. Very inexpensive, and I’m sure it is old stock. Minimal, but a great bargain IMHO.

I've got a similar frosted one, but out of curiosity does the inner frosted nature peel/go away when you touch it?

I haven't tested this one out yet, but the other case I have (which is identical) DOES have this "peel off" look--I thought it was just from the oils in my fingers but I can't seem to get rid of it. The case looks like crap now. I'm definitely returning it.

I'd consider it, but I don't see a delivery estimate on their website as I would if I got it from Amazon. If the case wouldn't arrive until January I may as well wait to see what other offerings turn up by then.

Been a little annoyed with the iBenzer case I got, as I've discovered on the inside of the lid cover there's fingerprints. I mean like fingerprints as if someone did that graphite trick to pull fingerprints, then put a bunch on the inside right hand corner as some kind of screwy evidence if they were murdered in a CSI episode. I don't want to go through the hassle of returning, so may place one sticker in that lower corner, and look for a better option. So check your cases before tossing the wrapping.

I'm also having this with a case I got from Aliexpress. But frosted/matte, it has the same problem of what you've mentioned.

@tharitm quick update the UESWILL has the same issue. Put the “Ibenzer” back in the return bag and installed the UESWILL. These are THE SAME no doubt. Within an hour, already had “fingerprints” on it (that won’t come off).

these cases are all clearly made at the same factory, despite branding. I would avoid any of the $20 Amazon cases until some obviously new and different ones come out. The way these $20 cases are all advertised and priced are a dead giveaway that they are all the same. since it's a January 31 return period, I hope stronger ones come out soon.

Agreed. The lack of delivery ETA is a problem for me. I will call and confirm tomorrow. It seems like the Amazon iteration is a knock off. Not sure how this was shipped from ibenzer.

YES! I got mine from Aliexpress for $10. But still it has the same issue as yours. Everything seems to be from the same factory but just different brands slapped on it. I'm honestly surprised why the trusted brands like incase still dont have cases for the new 14" and 16". Usually they have cases ready for new iPhones, when they launch.

Even in these cases, it annoys me the corners of the hinge area (where ports are), isnt covered as well.

Yes, it’s thin although I haven’t seen the Apple one.

I ordered the "clear" but it should be called "frost clear" -- or more accurately -- "cloudy plastic."

I would NOT recommend this color. Within 24 hours, it is already showing permanent fingerprints. Once you touch it, it sticks--and weirdly looks "dark." You would think I had ink on my hands. Same issue with the Ibenzer, which I'm returning.

The case itself is not very protective, but it does fit fine. If you want something to prevent scratches, it will do the job. But I wouldn't count on it for much else.

The 13" Incase case is a good fit for the 14" MBP. I use it with a Harbor leather sleeve (originally for the 13" MBP) inside.

My black Mosiso hardshell just showed up, 2 weeks early! It's exactly what I was expecting - I just wished it covered the back/bottom corners. I've used the i-Blason cases in the past but they don't have anything available for order yet. I'm just waiting until InCase has the "dots" shells available and I'll switch to that one - I like the texture.

FWIW - I've used the translucent/frosted clear cases before and they're horrible for finger oils - the black ones can be but don't show it as much. Use rubbing alcohol to rub the fingerprints out - mostly.

Yes, the back is completely exposed. I imagined that's done with a lot of early cases for Apple products, they will err on the side of caution, and not cover areas they aren't sure of the clearance. Later products made after companies have had a product for awhile, seem to cover more.

Remember the importance here for a few of us, is wanting a case, ANY case as soon as possible. When the selection of cases improves ( and probably costs more ), I'll be looking at other options. For now, this is my option, and it meets the needs I ask of it for now.

I have the Mosiso one and it looks identical to your iBenzer. I recall that when it was first listed on Amazon, it showed the back corners protected like the shots on the iBenzer product page do - good point on being cautious on the clearance. I'm the same as you - something, anything to protect it from my clumsy self! Now I can relax a little.

I contacted Ibenzer.com and the agent claims that the 16inch M1 max neo party has stock available. I purchased the black one and I’ll update when I receive it. I think I’m returning the current ibenzer. Hopefully the neon party covers the back corners like the marketing on the website shows.
