MacBook Pro Bags, Sleeves, and Cases Thread

I'm waiting for Mosiso to make this case for the MBP 16" 2021. I have it on my Air and it has endured all kinds of horrific abuse, including drops, slides off the couch, etc. My Air looks brand new. It is an entirely different beast than the thin plastic slop we're dealing with now.

Here you go. Sorry for the poor photos. It's hard to see due to perspective, but all the edges of the MBP are protected. A 14" sleeve and case might offer a bit more protection, but for me, the additional outlay of €€€ for both a new sleeve and Incase didn't seem justified since the 13" items are relatively new.

Thanks! those actually look like a sleeve for the MBP and not a case. What I was referring to was an actual case for the MBP, like this one https://incase.com/products/textured-hardshell-in-woolenex-for-13-macbook-pro-thunderbolt-usb-c

Okay, my neon party M1 max 16inch just shipped. I will update when I receive it. Ibenzer has pretty fast shipping so hopefully I can get it soon. This will be the product that will be sold at Best Buy and other stores.

Did you check Aliexpress? Majority of cases come from there, there is currently an issue of permanent finger prints on cases. You might need to wait a bit until we see different cases.

Interesting to see how it turns out! Do a finger print test when you get it.
 
If it helps anybody, I contacted iBenzer via their site regarding the MacBook 16” Neon Party’s back corners and this is what they said:
“We have updated our model to the version with the back corner exposed since the laptop is very thick.”

Hmm. The marketing pictures show that the back corners are protected and I was told the same thing from Ibenzer. I purchased the neon party. It’s different from the amazon version. It’s possible the agent was confused. I will update when I receive it.

Not sure if this is the right thread, but we need Kensington to release new privacy screen protectors for the new MBPs asap..

I really like both. They both have a very snug but not too tight fit for the 14” MBP. The Incase fits a little better (almost perfect) but I’m still leaning towards the Nidoo because of the color and it has a zippered pocket. Also it is way cheaper than the Incase, I want to say it was like $11.99 compared to $29.99. I’m having a tough time deciding because every bit of space is crucial to me because I will be slipping the sleeve into the laptop compartment of my backpack. Pictures to come soon. You really can’t go wrong with either one but as of right now I’d say go Nidoo because of the price and fit.

I’ve had a look at this for my 16 inch, but unsure whether this will keep my MBP safe in my backpack as I commute quite a bit with my laptop on public transport - Tube, bus etc.

Just received this navy leather sleeve from Harber London with 15% off voucher made it £59. It's a really snug fit and minimalist which is what I wanted around the house and for putting in another larger bag for travel.

I got the same one off them but in black. Had one for my 13 MBP. Great quality and a reasonable price.

Was this the UESWILL one? I got that off Amazon and it's pretty nice. A bit bummed it doesn't support the back corners of the computer but I understand with the design. Still some protection is better than none!
