Any recommendations for a slim, good looking backpack that would fit MBP16 M1 and would be comfortable?
I am using Deuter Stockholm (link-deuter) and is VERY comfortable, fits a lot and looks okay, but is a bit too tall (when I want to carry it in the bag on my bike-carrier, I can barely close it).

I prefer cognac leather, I really like the looks and dimensions of Harber London cognac backpacks (link-harber), but I am not sure how comfortable they are with big and slightly heavier laptop... No padding for the back, the straps look a bit thin
I bought Piquadro leather backpack after the MBP16, since I had used one for M1 Air I had before and loved that one, my most favourite bag, but the big version with MBP16 was pretty uncomfortable to carry so I had to sell it... also tried dbramante1928 svendborg from Amazon, looked nice but did not fit MBP16...

Something like SF Waterfield Sutter Slim backpack would be great (link), but I find it U*G*L*Y in both colors... if only they made one in leather...

Had been using case, sleeve, dbrand skin etc. since PBG4 12", MBP 13" – none of them are practical IMHO. I don't need to carry my MBP 14" with bulky case/sleeve in my backpack. Overpriced dbrand skin not cover entirely (also the cutout?!). Finally, got cheap 17" size clear matte sticker from AliExpress can cover entire top & bottom case. Neat and v cost effective.

It seems to be very nice.

Do you have the link?

I hope the material is from 3M. I cannot trust any other manufacturer for the raw material of such products.

Been using 3M material (like dbrand, slickwraps etc.), have no different IMHO with other vinyl as long you properly applied on your MBP/phone. Am not trust 3M ;) Bought 3-pcs for 8$ during sale. It's just consumable item, you can replace it cheaply. Good luck!

Pardon my being lazy, but could someone possibly help me out and save me going back through all the posts and give me some suggestions?

Looking for a sleeve for my MacBook Pro 14 2021 M1 Pro. My criteria is:
- Must be vertical orientation (it goes in my backpack and I want to be able to pull the laptop out without taking the sleeve out).
- Must be as slim/small/snug as possible (again to fit in my existing backpack, there's not a lot of spare room).
- I prefer not leather.

I've already come across the Native Union Stow Slim which ticks these boxes. Also the Incase Icon Sleeve. Are there any others anyone can suggest/recommend?

I have the same desire for a vertical, for my backpack. I tried the ICON sleeve for my 14in, but its WAY too tight. I've seen the Native Union, and may try that one next. I think my ICON is going to get returned.

The Native Union is my favorite sleeve and the first thing I ordered for my 16”. Unfortunately, it adds so much length and width to my MBP that I couldn’t fit it in my backpack at all. I therefore returned it and am searching for something else.

I found nothing that ticked my boxes! So not what I'd originally expected, but I've ordered this: https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/294...&organic_search_click=1&variation0=2277130744

It may be in the end that I have to put that in my backpack and leave it there, and have a separate good solid case that I can use if I'm taking my MacBook on it's own. Not ideal essentially buying 2 things to fulfil 1 purpose, but hey ho.

I have the Waterfield Designs Dash sleeve for my MBA. You can order in either the vertical or horizontal orientation. Pretty high quality stuff. The MBA fit pretty tight initially, but the sleeve loosened up a bit after use. I’ve got a couple bags from them and they’re very high quality stuff. Give them a look.

This looks promising. How's the padding? Interior material?

Anyone else try the ICON sleeve for the 14" MBP? That seems like the one that checks all my boxes, but the comment about the tight fit has me worried.

I think I’m gonna settle on the tomtoc 360. Seems to be mostly everything I want. Just maybe a tad on the thick side. Price is right though.
