Picked this top-loader up from Amazon. Its a little snug, not as bad as my Incase. Seems to be stretching a bit with my 14 in it. Seems promising so far

Incase sleeve finally out for 14/16 inch MacBook Pros! Just ordered the Heather Navy for mine. Harbor London has served me well but Incase is my favorite, this has been a long time coming! https://incase.com/products/icon-sleeve-for-macbook-pro-14-inch-2021
How has the incase compact sleeve worked out for you? Appreciate if you could share your feedback and experience. I am thinking of getting it too.

Just looking for a simple, well padded sleeve that will provide good protection.

Someone recently recommended the Rickshaw Flap sleeve recently in this thread. I wanted a flap, no zippers, no leather as my other bags are nylon (Bellroy system messenger and desk pouch). Sleeves with closures have been limited to date vs 2019 16” versions.

I purchased the Rickshaw Flap sleeve for my 2021 MBP 16” and is also available for the 2021 MBP 14”. There’s also a no flap sleeve, but that’s not what you’re asking about.

I prefer the nylon of the Rickshaw sleeve. The flap is secured by velcro. It fits my 2021 MBP like a glove, just enough friction and easy to put in sleeve or remove.

I tried multiple sleeves prior including the Native Union Stow Lite. Either the sleeve didn’t fit to my satisfaction, felt cheap or the zippers were at risk of scratching my MBP.

How is the rickshaw holding up and how’s the quality of it ?

Hey guys, so for those who seek a good sleeve case for the 16-inch MacBook Pro (2021), there is actually one from Inateck available on Amazon. I tested it and unlike the previous sleeve case I ordered (see my post from June), this one is perfect.
I agree with kdvl7

I was going to go with Incase brand since I used them two times before (retina MacBook and MacBook air before that) bu the quality has unfortunately been downgraded. The price hasn't of course.

I went to Amazon to search around. Tomtoc kept coming up and it looked promising but the inner bumps made for protection appeared to mark up the MBP's somehow (multiple customer pictures showed the marking, not sure if permanent or not).

Searched some more and came across this for a great price. Does its job, has the thicker edge protection, and comes with an accessory bag.

I am looking for a minimal top loading sleeve for my newest edition 14” MacBook Pro. I am trying to find the one pictured below. The video I took the screenshot from on YouTube says it’s a Tomtoc but I cannot find anything near similar on Amazon or Tomtoc’s website. Can anyone help? Thanks!

Where are people in the UK buying hard shell cases? Im looking for just a plain black/dark colour hard shell. I dont want the cheap ones on amazon. The incase website is non functional, the speck website says coming soon. The Tech21 only has clear cases - id rather be discrete when traveling and not advertise its a mbp.... Are there any other alternatives for a quality slim hard shell case? Ive never found it so difficult to find cases for a laptop before....its been out quite a while now too, so I would have assumed there would be plenty available.

This arrived today - love it - seems a good fit and well made and only 30 quid odd -

I'm thinking about to buy this thing for my 14", Do I need the 13"or the 15" version? This one seems to be a bit loose, right? I don't like snuggy sleeves. It's 51 EU here in the Netherlands, dunno if it's worth the price..

I'm returning my Incase 14" sleeve, it's way too snug for my liking.

Hello there

I understand these must have been asked a 1000 times but there are so many messages. In the hand, what case would you recommend for a 14 inches? I noted that Incase is not recommended anymore.

I bought this one;

It fits like a glove, and it's inexpensive. Not the most premium sleeve, but it does the job! Perfect!

Haven't tried it for the 14", but I've bought it for two other MBP's (13" Touch Bar MPB and 16" M1 MBP) and loved it with both. It's a sharp looking case and both MBP's slid right in, so the fit is fine. The magnetic closure is the best part, since it allows for very quick access to the computer, but also means it won't fall out if you are carrying the sleeve by itself.

My one negative is that that it adds a fair amount of size externally because of the way it protects the computer around the edges. From a protection perspective, this is great. But with my 16", it meant that the computer plus sleeve was too large to fit in my backpack. I think the 14" sleeve will still fit comfortably in most bags, so that downside probably won't be an issue for your machine.

The diagonal pocket on the outside is so tight that it's more for cosmetics than anything else, but it will hold an envelope or two, etc.

That is really nice! I'd also be interested in it. Looking at the Tomtoc website, the white label on the side doesnt seem to match with their branding.. any other hints?

Protecting a laptop from scratches is good but I'd really like a case made out of rigid polycarbonate/ABS so I can throw my laptop in a bag with other things and not worry about those other things pressing down on the laptop.

A Pelican HardBack 1075 case isn't big enough to fit a 14" MacBook Pro, and the 1085 case is much too big.

Do any companies beside Pelican make such things? I don't understand why it's so hard to find cases like this. Do people not put their laptops in e.g. luggage, etc.?
