Hello guys,

I ordered the Incase Facet Sleeve for 16" MacBook Pro on the Apple Store a few weeks ago and I just received it.
Well, it is simply way too tight. I really tried to put the MacBook correctly into the case but it doesn't work.
I do not know how it is with the MacBook Pro 14", but do NOT order the Incase Facet Sleeve for the 16-inch model.

Thanks for the pics and report.

I guess I'll keep waiting for Incase's ICON sleeve for the 16" 2021 MBP.

Seems like incase butchered their entire line of sleeves for the 2021 pro.

I have the Facet sleeve for my 14” and it fits well. Just picked up the Hardshell Dot case, but haven’t checked the fit with the case installed yet. May be too tight with the case - but “naked”, the fit is good.

The problem is that Apple uses pictures showing a 16-inch MacBook Pro 2021 with the Facet sleeve and this is misleading; the new MacBook Pro is in reality too thick to fit (as shown in my pictures). And I didn't even add anything in the lateral pockets! As for Incase, did they even test their own product?

I'm not willing to scratch the aluminium with the metal zipper so I'll return the Facet sleeve back to Apple.

I haven't seen any reviews here on the Moft Sleeve with Hidden stand, although it seems to be reviewed well elsewhere.

I heard of it on another Max Tech video, and I'm considering it for travel use, but I ended up going down their product rabbit hole, and now I'm really intrigued with their sit-to-standing Moft-Z laptop desk device, also well-reviewed elsewhere. Still I don't know if a 10" boost is enough to account for a good neck position when standing, as I've got about a 14" difference between standing and sitting, and I ain't exactly tall.

Any recommendations for a slim, good looking backpack that would fit MBP16 M1 and would be comfortable?
I am using Deuter Stockholm (link-deuter) and is VERY comfortable, fits a lot and looks okay, but is a bit too tall (when I want to carry it in the bag on my bike-carrier, I can barely close it).

I prefer cognac leather, I really like the looks and dimensions of Harber London cognac backpacks (link-harber), but I am not sure how comfortable they are with big and slightly heavier laptop... No padding for the back, the straps look a bit thin
I bought Piquadro leather backpack after the MBP16, since I had used one for M1 Air I had before and loved that one, my most favourite bag, but the big version with MBP16 was pretty uncomfortable to carry so I had to sell it... also tried dbramante1928 svendborg from Amazon, looked nice but did not fit MBP16...

Something like SF Waterfield Sutter Slim backpack would be great (link), but I find it U*G*L*Y in both colors... if only they made one in leather...
It's not particularly good looking but doesn't look bad either, and it does the job perfectly: Osprey Arcane Large Day. The computer sleeve is the perfect size if you put in the 16" naked, or with a slim sleeve (I use the Woolnut one).

It's very confortable and I also like the fact that the accessories are placed close to your back: in other bags when they are placed far away and the rest of the bag is empty, they pull the bag away and make it seem heavier than it really is.

Anyone know of new hard shell cases that have come out recently? The one I bought on Amazon has cracked at the screen edges already.
I have been asking this question a couple of times for the past couple of months. No reply. Maybe just buy one of them from Apple.

For those looking at them, TwelveSouth just dropped the BookBook for the M1 MBPs, and currently has them on sale on their site and their Amazon storefront. Mine just arrived today, and looks just as amazing as the 10 year old one I have on my mid-2011 MBA. The only difference between the two, outside of the hidden sleeve at the bottom of the inside of the case...

New Leather Smell. 😄

I am looking for a stylish, simple and modern looking messenger/shoulder bag that will fit a 2021 14" MacBook Pro snugly. I use to have an Incase one a few years ago and would like something similar to that. Could some of you here share some recommendations?

Info only the Moshi hard case was released for the 14” and 16” pro’s. I bought the 14”, really hoping it arrives soon and fits good.

Hey guys, so for those who seek a good sleeve case for the 16-inch MacBook Pro (2021), there is actually one from Inateck available on Amazon. I tested it and unlike the previous sleeve case I ordered (see my post from June), this one is perfect.

How is the Incase Facet for the 14"? I'm thinking of getting the purple one.

I did, fits decent. My only complaint is that the “micro” tabs that hold it in place don’t see very strong. If you grab it in the right spot it feels like it bends outward. Overall I’m happy with it so far though.

What the hell has happened to Incase, they used to make such good products that came out close to the devices launch. Now all I get is a broken site that is very ambiguous if their product will fit the actual laptop.

What, in particular, are you trying to find out? Not trying to be an arse, just curious. The site seems to be working now.

Just try selecting a country.

Instead of a list of countries you get 'Rule 1', 'Rule 2' etc...

I follow links to products that I'm then told are not available, probably down to the broken country selector.

Ah, got it. Thanks for the clarification!
