Picked up a Thule Gauntlet 2.0 clamshell sleeve and Moshi iGlaze for my 15" Retina. The Thule is fantastic, grippy exterior, sufficiently soft insides, keeps my computer relatively secure inside and has semirigid walls- as well as being waterproof. The Moshi I'm not sold on yet. It has some fit and finish issues that may necessitate an exchange. In particular the clips on the bottom cover at the front slide off very easily, even with pressure from my wrists while my palms are on the palm rest. If anyone has a similar experience I'd like to know so I can return it rather than just exchange.

Has anyone mentioned or bought one of these awesome Colcasac sleeves? They look so cozy and soft I'd want to wear one lol. They're made with all natural materials.

Looking for a slim and not super bulky backpack for a 13 rMBP

What are you guys using?
I think the best bag I've seen is the Incase Compact
Want a bag that is dedicated for a 13 and not a backpack that can fit 13-17 (doesn't seem like it would keep the laptop secure)

Any suggestions?
TIA

I have the older model incase compact (might of been called something else) it has the support straps and 2 big pockets instead of one, and I LOVE it. I actually had incase replace it under warranty because a buckle broke, and they never asked for the defective one back, so I have 2.

I have the 13" retina

I second the compact backpack, I've had it for almost half a year now and it's still in great shape! Best and sleekest laptop backpack I've seen/used so far. :)

I'm using Wrapsol full body film protectors, Incase rMBP designed neoprene sleeve (only at Apple retail & online stores), Incipio frost colored feather case, and a Case Logic 14" backpack.

I have the Unitah and I love it. Nice snug fit (specifically made for Retina), love the materials (esp. the fleece liner), and most importantly no zipper to scratch your MacBook on.

I usually try a few different sleeves but I have no desire to buy another one. I'm completely satisfied.

I'm probably going to buy this backpack!
I saw it at a store today and this looks like a sturdy and nice backpack to fit my Macbook Pro with retina display 15" (it's not a tight fitted pocket for the Macbook but that's not an issue since I always put that beauty in a sleeve).

Besides that there is room for 2 bottles of water on the sides (to prevent getting your beloved electronics wet), a skateboard holder (not that I actually skate but I like the look), a pocket on top to keep my phone/iPod/sunglasses and obviously a main compartment where I keep all my books and charger for the Macbook!

I've been thinking of getting one of these... they look fabulous... can you elaborate on what you mean by "heavy"?

I also haven't received a response to my email for at least a few days either. I'd like to know if there is a long delay between ordering and shipping or what the deal is with availability.

I seem to be seeing a lot of contrasting feedback on Alex (Picaso labs) a lot of people are saying his customer service is awesome and some exactly say the opposite. I've received a shipping invoice and a tracking number but obviously he hasn't shipped the case yet.

VirtualRain have you ordered already ?

No I haven't ordered...which is a good thing. I'm in Boston next week on business so I contacted him a few days ago to find out the lead times and shipping time, but haven't heard back, so my plan to save tax and a bit on shipping has now fallen through. If I ever do hear back, I may order and ship it to my home address but I'm not submitting an order into what seams like a black hole.

Please keep us posted on your situation.
