So, what's the best sleeve for a 15" rMPB? After reading this thread, it seems like Booq Mamba sleeve is the best one available and Incase (including the slim one) are not tight enough. Is it still true? It it worth spending $40 on Booq compared to about $15 on Incase (eBay)? Also, those of you who've had Booq Mamba for a while, does the zipper really scratch corners?

Hey Guys

I am looking to get the new 13" MacBook retina, I am wondering with the recent changes to its form factor will covers from the previous gen retina fit the new model?

Does anyone know any websites/stores that sell red skin cases ? I've got Speck marked down, just seeing if there's any where else.

I just received a smooth leather sleeve from Joli Originals for my retina MacBook Pro, it's a bit expensive but it looks and feels amazing. It is a bit awkward at first to get a MacBook in and out of a sleeve but it fits perfectly.

Decided to also get one of the smooth ones for my new MacBook Pro that's hopefully going to be delivered tomorrow! Still doubting about the colour though, I like the brown/aqua, but I also like the grey/red.

Anyone know of a good sleeve for the 15" rMBP that does NOT have any zips? I got the InCase Neoprene sleeve yesterday but I can hear it scrape on the zips as I slide the machine in.

Anyone going with a hard shell case with their new Haswell MBPs? Starting to look at those again. Speck cases have the worst reviews and people are complaining that their laptops are now badly scratched up because of the Speck case and that the clips break off after a few weeks of usage.

I found Moshi has pretty good reviews but it is a bit expensive though.

I just don't want any scratches on mine. I already have a Waterfield case that I will use:

personally, i deeply considered a case (moshi), but then i realised - heck, i spend good $$ on this, and its gonna be only few years - i should enjoy this as it was intended to. think about it!

(i talk about those plastic shells. a carrying sleeve - ofcourse!)

Same here. Those plastic cases are fugly - akin to screen protectors on an iphone.

I however have a few sleeves for diff occasions. One for rugged transport and one for around the house. The naked laptop is a joy to handle and view.
