hi. Please, tell me about updates from beta to beta? how it will be? can i install it normally from appstore, on download new beta version, write on usb and install without cleaning ssd? thanks!
For updating the beta all you have to do is use the Software Update Pane in System Preferences (a new thing in Mohave). If after applying the new beta update your Mac doesn't work right, just apply dosdude1's Post Install Patcher tool. You're all set then.

What/which kext do you tried replacing?

The picture you quoted belongs to another kind of Mac totally different Intel Chipset from your machine, more over that Mac has a FaceTime HD camera not an iSight camera as your macbook.

From your pictures I see you have a C2D Penryn Nvidia Chipset's Macbook, and you have installed the macOS Mojave 10.14 beta 3 Update 1.

I do have a similar machine with Mojave beta 2 installed and to me iSight works without issues.

This iSight issue was explained and fixed earlier, but I recall my steps:

- You should have all the non-patched Mojave Beta 3 IOUSB*** Kexts installed in your Mojave S/L/E
- To make iSight working you need to replace only two kexts of them:

1) IOUSBHostFamily.Kext this is mandatory to make any USB responsive as you written, and this Kext must be taken from any High Sierra Installation;
2) IOUSBFamily.Kext that I uploaded on page 110 (or any IOUSBFamily.kext taken from the same High Sierra Installation where you took the first one).

Try these steps you should fix it.

Or instead doing all those steps with dosdude1's Mojave Patcher Post Install select your Mac model: MacBook6,1

Hi I did run the Post Install Patcher and I still can't seem to get it to work.

I downloaded the IOUSBFamily.Kext from your post on page 110 and I copied a HS IOUSBHostFamily.Kext file and replaced it however when I booted up my computer the trackpad was unresponsive. So I reinstalled the Post Install Patcher and it fixed it... however my iSight turns on but I can't get any video still.

RE: USB port not charging my iPad.. looks like downgrading the iPad to iOS11 fixed it. So not sure if it was iOS12 being an issue or there was a hiccup on the Mojave side of things.

Hello first of all thanks for all the work you dosdude1 and the others are doing. I successfully installed Mojave on my MacBook Pro 13" Mid 2010 and I just managed to get the iSight to work.

Instead of replacing the whole IOUSBFamily.kext I narrowed it down (using IORegistryExplorer) to /S/L/E/IOUSBFamily.kext/Contents/PlugIns/IOUSBLib.bundle just replacing that from High Sierra (10.13.5) the iSight started working without even having to reboot and to be clear I didn't touch IOUSBHostFamily.kext.

is not working for me

The updated macOS Mojave patcher v. 0.1b10 downloads High Sierra when attempting to download Mojave Beta from within the application. Has anyone else had this issue?

Also, can someone point me to a guide to disable the amd GPU in an early 2011 Macbook Pro 15.

Ugh, Apple changed up the catalogURL again it seems. I'll have an update ready momentarily.

EDIT: Updated, version number unchanged. Re-download Mojave Patcher, and try again.

Is it a normal temperature on a iMac 8,1 for the power supply to fluctuate between 279 degrees and 300 degrees and the cpu 149 degrees when I walk by to the hair on my head and arms stand straight

There is a post by @qoob from the previous page who got his camera to work on his MacBook Pro 5,5. You may try following his lead if your iSight was working under HS 10.13.5. We haven't found a consistent solution for mbp's of that generation yet. Good luck.

Ouch! Are you overclocking your gear or something ? :)

No I bought the iMac 8,1 for $35 when I got it there was a windows xp product key sticker on the back and XP burn image on the screen and when I turn it on all the fans are at full blast very loud and it only has 3gb of ram so a bit slow if my Grandma had wheels she'd be a wagon

I doubt that's your real CPU temp. That's way beyond overclocking danger zones. How are you getting your temps? download a utility like Fanny simple to start with and reads internal sensors. Don't know about your power supply though.

I have to disagree. Until it’s out of beta, I would install fresh.

Installing a Mojave beta on top of another OS? If somethign goes wrong the user won’t know what to fix if something is broken.

Fresh clean installs are best until it’s out of beta.

It’s much better to do a clean install and I highly recommend it but you should be able to just install it over your over your current installation. It’s not the best idea but it should work although it’s even more unlikely that it’ll work with a patched system unfortunately.

I downloaded and used Mac fan control and use ambient settings for all that way the fans are quite my iMac 8.1 the CPU is at 3.09 ghz and the 9.1 is at 2.26 ghz

Thanks for that dosdude1! Also thanks for making these tools man, you are the MAN!! Could you point me in the right direction on how to disable the AMD GPU for my early 2011 macbook pro 15?

Just boot your system into Singleuser mode (Command + S at startup), and enter the following:
Code:
nvram fa4ce28d-b62f-4c99-9cc3-6815686e30f9:gpu-power-prefs=%01%00%00%00

You will probably have to do this a couple times during the installation process (if the GPU has failed), and when you're done, you'll need to remove all AMD kexts, by entering the following:
Code:
sudo rm -R /System/Library/Extensions/AMD*.*
sudo kextcache -system-caches
sudo kextcache -system-prelinked-kernel

Temps still seem strangely high. I am running Fanny under Mojave and my CPU temp hovers around 60C with no stress.

Any chance to run mojave on imac 2011 with amd gpu ! On first page you say driver doenst load ... Are you working on this to.fix it or not? It is the end.of.imac with amd?
