Nice, can you show me them?

I can't now, since it's an external disk I swapped, I'm typing from the MB7,1 HS, I want try manual patching again, later

On the internal SSD of the MBP I'm still on Mojave beta 2!

Mojave Patcher v1.1.0 is now released, which adds support for Dev Preview 5.

Thanks. From my previous post, I corrected the version i had of the Mojave Patcher from 2.0.1 to 1.0.2.

I will download this newer version 1.1.0. My Software Update check is still not showing the latest Developer Preview version.

Ditto on both my Mojave machines. Seems like there's always a little lag. Should be available this afternoon sometime. Full Installer dowloaded pretty quickly though.

I wonder what the timezone that gets this update from "Software Update" first.

I know this may be a kludge - Can I drop your latest [macOS Post Install] app (2.3.5) on a b4 stick JUST to post-install a software update dB4->dB5 upgrade. I'm just trying to avoid the long USB stick build after I software update. It all looks pretty self contained.

You can’t only use the post install tool because then there would be no system to boot from, but, you can use the post install tool from any system as long as you can acesss your Mojave drive from that system.

I know. That's why it's just convenient to use an existing bootable stick to run the latest post install from. Just wanted to see if there was any reason to worry.

dev beta 5 successfully installed on my iMac 9,1 CoreBrightness works so does night shift and had to reinstall the iSight patch it now works as I only had the b12 version of the Mojave patcher so used that for the post install, I am in the Pacific time zone
Cool! I believe you beat us all to the punch this time. Congrats. Screenshot?

No changes were made to the post-install tool in this version, so you don't need to worry about that.
Thanks. Your post-install is always the quickest and most convenient wait to revive a new upgrade. That's why I asked.
This time around I want to capture some snapshots of the extension and other Library folders - just to track the differences between full install and software upgraded install. Just curious.

Looks like Dashboard UI glitches have been resolved with DP5.
Yay!

If the system boots properly after installing a system update, the best thing to do is open up the Patch Updater tool, select "View Installed Updates", and then re-install all patches from there.

You mean Apple won’t resolve them or we won’t resolve them?

Or... both...?
Both.

Oh I so hope that you’re wrong.

Oh yeah. But haven't had any luck with a system update that boots up flawlessly. (yet)
