Alright, finally... Version 1.2.1 of Mojave Patcher is released, which will now download the latest official release of Mojave. Due to extreme load on my server, I had to offload the DMG to a Google Drive link, so that's what you'll be using when downloading from my webpage.

I have a Mac Pro that the Patcher says is natively supported, but which Mojave itself refuses to install on because I use a GT 120 in OS X as a backup card. Will I have to use the Patcher to create an installer, and then use the Legacy Video Card Patch to get OS X actually working? But how will I even see the installation process (and therefore be able to click on anything) if it won’t understand my GT 120 during the installation? This will all be resolved, assumedly, post install 1. due to the patch and 2. due to the fact that I use a GTX 980 for all purposes other than installing updates. But getting through the install will be the problem.

I assume you mean it runs fine with the various graphics glitches, right?

I think I'll keep my MBP5,5 and MB51 on High Sierra. I'm happy with that considering there are no significant glitches and there is full support for external APFS drives (even though I have both those machines on HFS+).

Impressive to see all the progress on Mojave though.
yes it has light mode glitches but I have been testing a hybrid patch from pkouame and jackluke which is really impressive

- AMD Radeon HD 5xxx/6xxx series GPU acceleration: Currently, it is not possible to get full graphics acceleration when running Mojave on a system with a Radeon HD 5xxx or 6xxx series GPU. This includes the 15" and 17" MacBook Pro systems (MacBookPro8,2 and 8,3). If you want to enable GPU acceleration on these machines, you'll need to disable the AMD GPU. Weird colors will also be produced when running Mojave with one of these video cards installed/enabled.

"Currently" means that there is a possibility that AMD Radeon HD 5xxx series GPU will be better supported in future?
I have a Mac Pro 3.1 with an Ati Radeon HD 5770 Card and before installing Mojave i would like to be sure that my card can work well on my system. I haven't enough money to change my video card so it would be fantastic to know that you are working to implement this feature in your next releases.

Thanks @TimothyR734 .

It did download the Install to the /Applications folder. Verified the install version from the Info.plist as 14.0.22.

Tried to use @dosdude1's mojave patcher app 1.2.0. It did verify the install file, but when preparing my 32g USB file to install, it gave me a "failure to mount" message.
I also tried to run directly the install file from the /Applications folder, and then chose my APFS Mojave boot partition/drive, it came back with a message that I couldn't install on that partition and needed a "mac journaled" which is HFS+.

Oh well, will wait for @dosdude1's latest.

Thank you.
I got the same message so I rebooted my Mac and it worked

What's new in this patch, aside from updating the script to download Mojave? Can I officially download Mojave and install by patcher 1.2.0 or do I need to make a pendrive with patcher 1.2.1 only?

Once again, thank you very much for everything.

hi all and thank you very much dosdude1.
installation worked very well on my MacbookPro5,5 (Nvidia 9400m), the only bug i discovered are some weird black lines around menu-windows (and pretty much every other Window, some more or less disturbing). can anyone confirm that, or was it mentioned here before? I guess there's no fix for that but maybe you want to add it to your list of known issues... Anyway thanks a lot. :)
e: oh ok, it's in the starting post, i see

FWIW I had nothing but problems with the 5770 on my 3,1 with High Sierra so I ended up getting a GTX 680. In hindsight, probably a good move.

The writing is on the wall with those old cards, I don't see Apple making this very easy for those with non-Metal cards. Even if the community gets support running for those older cards, a future update could brick it anyway. Mojave wants a metal capable card, I don't see a whole lot of options around that. At least with the Mac Pros, you can get a 680 for around $250, it's an upgrade well spent if you want to breathe some life into your 3,1.

Mojave is currently working well on my 3,1 + 680, dare I say better than HS. (My FaceTime Logitech C920 is not working with it though, still investigating that but everything else is running buttery smooth thus far.)

problems of any kind?

WIFII video etc... Do they work normally?
so far with the post install patches

Sure, but it would be nice to know beforehand, because how do you patch it if you can't boot?
As far as I know you could have a 2018 MacBook Pro or a 2015 iMac so those are APFS bootable or you could have a 1995 pent 486 computer without giving us any info on what you have we have to assume> You can format your hdd/ssd with APFS in recovery mode if it boots fine then you know but if it doesn't you need to format it extended journaled (HFS) and apply the APFS boot rom patcher which is very risky

Hi there, I also have an iMac 27 late 2011, I have been running Mojave since the begining without issues, the only patch I have applied is the video card. you should install or un-install the patches and force the cache rebuild.

Hi, I have a MacBook Pro (15-inch, Late 2011) with
AMD Radeon HD 6750M 512 MB
Intel HD Graphics 3000 512 MB

Did you install the patch and upgraded from the App store without installing from scratch?

Thank You. I had problems with the creation of the pendrive with Patcher 1.2.1, I was able to create the installer correctly only with Patcher 1.2.0
Mine said was unable to mount so I tried rebooting m iMac and it worked but the install did take a bit I am downloading the newest version of the Mojave Patcher sow going If my Grandma had wheels she'd be a wagon lol :)
