Oh whoops, read the wrong post date. I downloaded it from the dev catalog. It looks like it's still the 14.0.22 installer.

And I downloaded the wrong version... Great.

Now will this Release work as a Patcher Install? I have downloaded it and want to know if I should update my SD card?
It should work. I will try it when it's done downloading.

The installer version is 14.1.0

Same issue; developer download-link points to 10.14.0 (?), Not he 10.14.1.

Oh well 10.14.1 final is out, for what I read there is not yet a public url for the full installer, but I guess booting from any internal or external enrolled (patched without PlatformSupport.plist check) HighSierra or Mojave, this good old fixed link could work to download it (but please don't install! Just download): Download macOS Mojave from the Mac App Store

edit:
This should be the path where get rid of it: /System/Library/CoreServices/PlatformSupport.plist

Yes it is out, I can see it in the Software Update panel of System Preferences. So I just wait to see if I can safely proceed to the update or have to wait for a new version of Collin's tool (@dosdude).

Yes waiting is not so bad, as I stated earlier I could remain on 10.14.0 until 10.15 , unless in next minor versions update they introduce new features, apart critical security fixes.

I guess, in my case for 10.15 I will be better in buying a new machine :)
I agree that for now I do not see what will be the gain in upgrading to 10.14.1, beside the multi participants in facetime.

It is meant to fix the High CPU usage on some devices.

Just by curiosity, if you say it is safe to proceed with the proposed update in System preferences, why are you looking for install package on Apple server?
I want the installer app. It seems to be taking forever though. I don’t know what the problem is.

New MacBook Air (that uses the T2 Chip) and new iPad (without physical Touch ID button) seems also great products:

@ASentientBot no audio in your apple kiosk videos or I am missing some audio codec ?

Can someone, just for my piece of mind, confirm that OTA Update works on unsupported machines? Or should I wait for an updated version of the patcher from dosdude1?
This is also what I like to know. (Is there still a problem regarding a Firmware-Update?) I have time to wait. I'm not in the mood for reinstalling my complete OS.

I just downloaded the 10.14.1 installer through the macOS Mojave Patcher app... YMMV
Seems like there was an issue because I was downloading two components at the same time or something. I don't know but it should be done downloading soon.
