Yeah, I'll be updating it soon, I expect I should have time to do so later today.

It would be nice if the post install patching could be fixed on the MacPro 3,1 to insure that the Night Shift patches were applied to avoid forcing users to manually add them afterwards in the Patch Updater.

I can't do it that way, as it requires codesigning which can't be done outside a fully installed OS.

Can you tweak Patch Updater than to recognize automatically that the Night Shift patch is unapplied and install it the next time it checks for new patches upstream?

I was hoping to squeeze a few more years' life out of my 2011 MacBook Air, but per CoconutBattery, my battery capacity went from 80% in October (when I was running 10.13) to 58% the last time I tried to calibrate it at the beginning of December. :( It's still usable now, but if the battery keeps degrading like that, it will pretty much be an AC adapter-tethered laptop.

Worth a shot, ...No?

used current patcher 1.2.3, let the patcher app download Mojave (10.14.2)

created Installer Partition with it

installed over 10.14.1

let after patches run

works on Mac Pro 3.1 / HD5870 / HFSplus on spinner

Do I still need to re-download the installer and install over 10.14.1 to get 10.14.2, like we did with 10.14.1? Or will it work to update normally?

If you can't get the installer cause of HFSplus then yes, downloaded update refuses installation (no APFS, or no supported machine, even when used the package inside the file)

Hello guys!!!
I have MacBook Pro (13-inch, Late 2011) with Mojave 10.14 thanks to the edits posted here. However, I can not upgrade to 10.14.1 or 10.14.2. I've used several different types of pendrive, sizes and brands. The information is that it was not possible to record. I'm using the correct patcher. I have already downloaded the installer both from Patcher and from the App Store. can anybody help me? Thank you.

[QUOTE = "Macschrauber, post: 26890995, member: 1010130"] usou o patcher atual 1.2.3, deixa o app patcher baixar Mojave (10.14.2)

criou a Partição do Instalador com ele

instalado em 10.14.1

deixar depois de correções executar

funciona no Mac Pro 3.1 / HD5870 / HFSplus no spinner

I've done this several times. I used different devices.

Yes, it worked perfectly as described on @dosdude1 s website:
  • Downloaded the latest version of Mojave Patcher
  • Downloaded the installer using the Tools menu of Mojave Patcher
  • Created a patched USB installer on a newly formatted USB Stick
  • Booted from the stick and install 10.14.2 onto my current drive (usually named Macintosh HD)
  • Rebooted the Mac
  • Selected my MacMini 3,1 in the MacOS PostInstall tool
  • Installed the patches (using force cache rebuiled)
  • Rebooted to the operating system and voila I am now on 10.14.2
Perfect :)

  • Baixou a última versão do Mojave Patcher
  • Baixou o instalador usando o menu Ferramentas do Mojave Patcher
  • Criado um instalador USB com patches em um dispositivo USB recém-formatado
  • Inicializei a partir do bastão e instalei 10.14.2 na minha unidade atual (normalmente chamada Macintosh HD)
  • Reinicie o Mac
  • Introduzido por MacMini na versão MacOS PostInstall
  • Instalado os patches (usando o cache de força reescrito)
  • Reiniciado para o sistema operacional e voila agora estou em 10.14.2
Perfeito :)[/ QUOTE]

Sim. Primeira vez (10.14). Everything is OK. But not now.

Dont understand this language but the picture. Got kinda same message when running the patcher in Mojave. Later I used it in El Capitan and it worked. So somehow the patcher itself will run not in Mojave ?

Oh, I didn't realize that was the issue. Yes it's still HFS+, I'm running it on a hard disk, so I figured that was best.

And even if you applied the update successfully, you would still need to use the usb installer to reapply the patches for patched files that may have been replaced during the update.

Hi, everybody
I really need help... after upgrade to Mojave (step by step without problems) I can log in in my account without problem, but then.... every single app, button or something else where I try to click on, says “quit unexpectedly” ! I just can’t do nothing with my Mac. Safari, Settings, Finder... everything. Please

Hi,
Please read the FAQ at the bottom of dosdude1's website (http://dosdude1.com/mojave/) about Apps stop working.

Q: Safari, App Store, and/or Mail stopped working after installing a system update
A: Download and run the Onyx application, select "Maintenance" at the top, then click the Run button.

I'm sorry, but I'm using google translator and I could not ented. This is an application. Actually, I believe that somehow mac does not have access to usb sticks. Thanks for your help one more time ...

Hi.

I installed macOS 10.14.1 using dosdude1's patch. Now I would like to update to macOS 10.14.2. But if I go to System Preferences and then to System Update, my MacBook Pro 5,5 does not find the 10.14.2 version of Mojave. Any suggestion to solve the problem?

Thanks.

Download it from the Apple downloads page or download the new app from the patcher and then create a new usb with it.
