I'm not sure, is the camera listed in System Report under About this Mac? I only had problems initially with Siri and having no system audio output at all, but this was fixed using the Siri patch.

I’ll check after I finish the Time Machine restore.

I did all that. It worked fine up til now.

I even did a clean install to see if that would fix it, it didn’t. Same issue with that.
i got the same issue with the facetime camera, it was working fine in 10.14.2 (mbp 13" early 2011)

These kinds of patches are, in my opinion, minor details. If someone wishes to apply this patch then they may but I won't be including it due to it being not required nor having a significant benefit. Please let me know results of your MacBook4,1 testing with the dev version of my patcher. I'd like to release this soon and be able to confidently say it works.
Tried the dev version of the patcher. Ran the patch command with terminal.
Same behaviour: Bootable installation but no USB/trackpad functions.

Try copying over usbinjectall but no others. The fact that the graphics work but not the usb is interesting. I have to go to bed. Let me know if you find a solution.

The camera has worked very well on my Mid 2010 MBP 7,1. An update for the camera and Siri came up on their own when I rebooted into the update the second time. But even prior to that, the camera worked. I even used it for my first FaceTimes ever. (with my next ex-wife).

But since things are running wonky, I'm wiping and doing a Clean Install. It's a Full Release, it "should" go well.

I bought an old Macbook4,1 off ebay, installed Mojave 10.14.4 with Julian's patcher and patched the system post-install. I'm able to boot to the Welcome screen, but the top case and USB ports don't work, so unfortunately I can't use the trackpad/keyboard or any external ones. I tried swapping out the kexts with the ones Larsvonhier provided, but it's still not working. Forgive me if this was an issue addressed earlier.

MP3,1 GTX780 APFS patched rom

Did upgrade to 10.14.4 from 10.14.3 and all running fine. Even Siri (that i never use).
Did not patch LegacyUSBInjector, USBOHCI (and BCM4321 in my case) as not necessary, as i had said in my above post, at least in my case.
Nightshift (patched) works fine too.

Many thanks @dosdude1 once more :)

Now will upgrade my MBP6,2 from 10.14.3 to 10.14.4. Let's see ;)

No issues with the stock patch set here on a MacPro 3,1 with a Logitech C310 plugged into the back of a HD Cinema Display. The Patch Updater did its thing and automatically detected that the Legacy iSight/Webcam patch was required.

Just updated my iMac8,1 to 10.14.4 and everything works like in .3

Just a question, during the dev beta of Mojave (back in July/august) I replaced replaced IOaccelerator with the IOaccelerator of Mojave beta 1 (like jackluke? I don't remember). Is it still useful to do it today?

I don´t understand why you do not migrate to APFS then. And the old style font smoothing (sub-pixel antialiasing) can be turned back on with tools like TinkerTool or Onyx.

Because last time I tried (in Sierra) it wasn't possible to use FileVault on a APFS boot volume (at least without the ROM patch which I do not want to install). Has that changed since then? That limitation was never documented anywhere here.

It was an early experiment for helping supporting a rudimentary OpenGL fix, but no more really required, even if I guess it still works. However your iMac8,1 OpenGL Nvidia GPU fix is largely supported thanks to ASentientBot's fix. I just read iMac8,1 was produced either with Nvidia and/or Ati, dosdude1 fixed ATI GPU OpenGL for clarity.
