most likely Apple took into account some sleep for 8 hours so that leaves 16 hours so the dynamic changes every to hours as mine has changed
For me I like both light and dark mode and watching the changes during the day maybe it is possible to create a script running in the automator using the 4 dark macOS Catalina Desktop pictures while in dark mode

I don't think are from the link I found on Github but maybe
I have tried to boot from Clover on the CD, failed. Even tried to install from the pen drive, booting from the CD, not the pen drive itself, it got the same error. What does mean Still waiting for root device? What is that root deivice in the error? Not the pen drive, since it happens after the installation was suppose to be finished. Perhasp the apfs driver in Catalina does not fit in my drive? Or perhaps Catalina requires a SSD and old HDDs (more then 10 years old) are not supported to the new partition scheme with two main partitions? Anyway< i have accidentaly erased the Catalina install app when I formated the drive, now I need to reinstall Mojave again to get it, to try another pen drive. A lot, lot of work, not much time on my hands. The pen drive I use for Catalina, anyway, worked fine for installing Mojave, I do not think it is faulty, my guess it that the HDD itself has more to do with it. But it worth a try. It would like to avoid any major hardware upgrade for now, for financial reasons. The Catalina kernel itself works on this CPU, so there has to ba a solution.Try a different USB stick. I had one that generated various errors and even failed to install on a supported iMac13,1.
I would, but unfortunately there's no way for me to check whether or not the ROM patch is applied, and a popup would add confusion for "normal" users.

Can install over DP8 over DP7 without formatting
I'm creating the usb installer as I typeYes.

catalina beta 8 total of gorgeous 9 Catalina dynamic wallpapers.
Your browser is just caching the un-updated webpage, refresh and the link should update.I get a 404 error when trying to get the latest patcher 1.1.1
oops, thanksOnly Catalina.heic is dynamic, the other seven even if with .heic extension are static.
Also as @avz noticed, apple has created two duplicates of Catalina.heic naming "Catalina Day.heic" and "Catalina Night.heic", but they contain exactly the same 8 pictures with same file size 187 MB.
Recap, there are:
7 new static Catalina wallpapers (with an heic extension)
One dynamic Catalina heic wallpaper (that contains 8 "different" pictures)
Total: 15 Catalina wallpapers
edit:
Just copy/paste this from a Catalina Terminal, and you'll notice what I meant:
open /System/Library/Desktop\ Pictures/Catalina.heic
You can right click on thumbnails and "Export As" jpg.
Wonderful, thank you.
All works fine (Photo, Maps, Siri) with macOS Catalina Patcher 1.1.1 and dev beta 8 on my Macmini 4,1 (2010) thanks to @dosdude1 's geniality!

What are you trying to run macOS Catalina on a unsupported Mac or hackintosh I am running Catalina on a HDD and no issues with itI have tried to boot from Clover on the CD, failed. What model machine is this? 2018+ Mac?I am trying to install Catalina on a 2011 Mac Mini. Unfortunatelly the USB installer creation fails every time with an "error occured while restoring BaseSystem.dmg"
The log says:

I am trying to create the installer on a different Mac which is a supported system already running Catalina Beta 8.
Any help appreciated! I searched this topic for any workaround on this. It seems like I am not the only one with this problem, but no solution so far.
Thank you!
