That's because Podcasts *is* an AppKit app.

As also mentioned by someone else, actually no.

TV and Music are AppKit, but Podcast is actually a UIKit app with Catalyst.
I had a bug in beta 1, haven't upgraded to beta 2 yet so don't know if it's still there, where cmd+f would take focus to teach as expected, but the search field wouldn't work when activated like this - This bug was on TV and Music, and I wondered why not Podcast. Well, ironically the keyboard functionality was broken on the apps built natively for the Mac, not the app built for iOS and ported over.

Oh that's interesting - Safari for me keeps crashing when trying to log in to the Apple ID website and I had no idea why. I guess this isn't working for me yet. Having to use Chrome in the mean time.

Looks like there’s now a tab for GPU under activity monitor. Here’s to our fellow eGPU users.

Wow. This is awesome. I’ve been waiting for this for years and was already happy with the new GPU info in the CPU section, but a dedicated GPU section is even better.

Hi,

Can anyone check if this bug has been fixed?
In Finder sidebar, right click a tag, choose rename. Are you able to rename the tag from there? This is not possible in Mojave.

Thanks!

The Touch Bar can now show open spaces - makes it much more useful! Screen Shot 2019-06-21 at 9.32.41 AM.png Touch Bar Shot 2019-06-21 at 9.33.21 AM.png

In the new Music app, if you are in the "For You" or "Browse" tabs, can you finally drag and drop a song directly to one of your playlists in the sidemenu? (Like Spotify) or do you still need to click on the 3 dots icon to add it?

Also, can you manually order your playlists in the sidemenu?

System-wide Tabs have a 'smoother' design.

I think that applies to all tabs system wide. Did they lose rounded corners or something? I need a comparison pic.

You're correct it's system wide.

Here is Beta 1 & 2. Compared to the ones I showed above.

yeah, this includes the `screencapture` command for taking screenshots; whatever program tries to spawn a `screencapture` process will require permission

I hope they optimize this dialog flow a little bit. Getting really tired of opening sys

Security is absolutely out of hand now. I cannot have every single app requesting permission to every single resource. For christ's sake this what we have these machines for. They are supposed to access things and use things.

I now have to approve Chrome to use Screen Sharing?!?!?!? Are you kidding me? Apple is simply ruining the Mac user experience in favor of the illusion of security. I hate this.

really? you want less security? and how hard is it to give an app 'clearance' once?...
