I do not have opencore information, what I want to do is come to this screen without pressing alt / opt when I press the power button.

I searched but i did not find some well-explained article about downgrading to Catalina, could y'all help me? I can't deal with Big Sur warming up my machine and making it turn off everyday.
MacBook Pro Retina 15" Early-2013.
It is FREE!Yes , yes. But just a click on CCC is 1 nano second without hassle, sorry but i do not want to re-invent the wheel each time i wanna do something. It's your choice, your way to go.
You convinced me. It's free. Just publish there a recipe for people wanting to go easily on your free way. Good luck. As for now there is absolutely no proof of success on Big Sur.It is FREE!
Not the regular (Apple) way, I don't want/need Opencore/Refind.Ofcourse it IS. Install bootloader like Refind or OpenCore
There are plenty of people which can't comprehend non standard ways, so yes, not easy for noobs. It really is simple & quick. Create Refind USB takes 2 min max. Copy UUID folder from recovery takes 1 min (USB3 32/64Gb stick or even better micro SD card with USB3 converter). Create .plist file. 5 minutes tops!
Ready to boot your Mac to create APFS Container image (on same USB stick) to be able to restore it to any other Mac
What is that crap (Fugly) system, how dare you posting an enemy's OS screenshot.
But you have seen that we have an OC based patcher, that some systems need OC to boot into Big Sure and the iMac and MacPro users with AMD Polaris or Ellesmere or Navi GPUs use OC to get the hardware acceleration flying. There are plenty of people which can't comprehend non standard ways, so yes, not easy for noobs.
Read the micro patcher docs and honestly there is a search function on top of this page making it possibly to search for posts of particular users or key words and even limiting the result set to this thread.Hey. Please accept 1000 apologies, I know this question has been asked more than once on this forum, but I missed it. Please tell me how to open access to Extensions🤦 Thanks.
Hi, please, give us the new BS Beta link! Now when Apple sends a new update out, we aren't able to update through system update like supported Mac's?
On December 3, 2020:Hi, please, give us the new BS Beta link!
Thank you very much!
Thanks for your answer!On December 3, 2020:
Apple released macOS Big Sur Beta 11.1 Beta 2 (20C5061b) to Developers
I assume you mean this release??? If so, the link can be found using Search at top of this page -- search for 'installassistant.pkg'.
Hey @nekton1 would you mind giving us a quick rundown of what method you used to install it? I have pretty much the exact same computer as you (2008 Mac Pro 3,1, 2x 3.2GHz quad core Xeon, GTX680 2GB EFI flashed GPU, 32GB RAM, BCM94360CD WiFi AC + BT4 card and the APFS Boot ROM Patch) and am looking at installing Big Sur but this thread has me seriously confused as to what the current best way is. Thanks a million.Doable using Starplayrx BM02n_legacywifi method (although I have upgraded BT4/wifiac, I could not get the BM02ac_wifi version to complete the download) on MacPro 3,1.
Quite acceptable speed too and wifi is working. No BT or other problems so far.
Thanks Todd.
@mrbubzie1993 you are such a kind person thanks and happy holidays to you too!******beta release******
Alright so to be clear these drivers are beta I’m looking for about five or ten people who understands terminal and basic scirpiting to participate. I am announcing today support for Radeon 6x from the MacBook Pro 2011 full acceleration support in Catalina and partial support for resolution and basic features like screen brightness and resolution under Big Sur. I should give alittle background. I am a former developer for AMD and a former employee of intel I’ve been coding for almost 20 years this would not have been possible without madmax or thebighive. I will be releasing the final Kexts on December 15th. Until that point I need beta testers if you message me I’ll forward a link to my Google drive. Please note I am not looking for amateurs. You need basic knowledge of Terminal and scripting. Happy holidays everyone![]()
Got Airdrop working; just needed the BT pairing setup once.Running starplayrx BMO2ac_wifi method on MacPro 3,1 with GTX680 (efi flashed) and BT4/wifiac card from 2014 iMac and only thing not working is Airdrop; it flashed-up a neighboring supported MacMini but when I tried an Airdrop transfer, the partner disappeared and has not been seen since.
I'll post some logs if that helps.
This is really an interesting project:******beta release******
