Sorry, and where can I find the OCLP_032 Nightly TUI version to test?
You can either clone the OCLP GitHub repository and execute OpenCore-Patcher.command directly using the following one-liner in your terminal:
Bash:
git clone https://github.com/dortania/OpenCore-Legacy-Patcher.git && OpenCore-Legacy-Patcher/OpenCore-Patcher.command

That will give you the really latest updated code from the OCLP repository, which you can also directly modify in case you would like to test something and/or contribute to the code.

Or you can download the last OpenCore Legacy Pather TUI nightly from https://nightly.link/dortania/OpenC...s/build-app/main/OpenCore-Patcher-TUI.app.zip.

Hallo, danke für den Link. Ich habe es sofort ausprobiert. Aber leider kein Heilmittel. Im Anhang befindet sich auch ein Foto des Computers und was ich meine!

Hi everbody. Happy Sunday!

Would someone know how to activate the internal speaker of a MacPro3,1 in combination with OCLP 0.3.1 and Monterey?

Cheers
Joerg

The links to the nightly builds have been removed form the Github readme on purpose. Too many users were using them without reading docs and release notes and too many issues have been opened just because people did not understand the changes.

So please do not use the development versions just because you can access them. The developers made them available for the people which dedicate some of their spare time with testing.

The Nightly's are for testing and the current version will fix the menu bar ghosting issue and as you have pointed out - it is easy and safe to change versions.

Sorry, it is not as easy and save as you believe. Spoofing has changed recently and most people cannot recover from a wrong EFI when getting a black screen.

Subscribe to the Githbut issue list or take some time to read through the 700+ closed issues - most of them user issues cause by the inability to read the docs before hitting the download button and install a software they do not understand to use.

Yeah no gpu acceleration it says on open core site "
The following machines cannot gain graphics acceleration at all in Monterey, only basic framebuffer and brightness control (iMac8,1/9,1 and MacBook5,2 excluded):

  • iMac12,x and older
  • Macmini5,x and older
  • MacBook7,1 and older
  • MacBookAir4,x and older
  • MacBookPro8,x and older
"

Do you have any idea if this will be forever or if it could have support in the future i remember people saying theyd never have graphics acceleration on big sur so i guess theres some hope

True - better to do tests with new OCLPs, and with new macOS betas before installing for good.

I'm happy with OCLP 0.3.2 nightly downloaded yesterday. Main branch, RDRAND not needed.

I used it to install and run 12.1b2 and 11.6.2 in two partitions of the internal 1TB SATA SSD - after installing and testing them on external USB SSDs (which serve well also for backup purposes).
Used full installers for 12.1b2 and 11.6.1, then on to 11.6.2 OTA.

Using the ASB_BlurBeta set to true as well.

Great work by ASentientBot, OCLP team, and all contributors!
MBP5,2 continues to be fully usable for me.

BTW I always use the faster Nvidia 9600M GT which I feel makes a more responsive machine. After an nvram reset need to switch to the discrete GPU again, using gfxCardStatus. Need the AppleMuxControl replacement by Hackintosh HD for this which I‘ve put manually on one of the testing disks (because it interferes with backlight control).

I just installed Monterey on a beautiful 2012 Mac mini. The major hiccup was a dodgy SDRAM card which causes the APFS to fail the hash integrity check on booting after installing to card. Yet another zinger for Apple forcing this fine machine into the trashcan through lack of support for modern macOS versions.

Do you mind to remove your political slogan in your signature field, please. This is not a political debate forum.

Add: Thanks. I've noticed that you have removed. much appreciated.

Having a problem enabling AirPlay receiver on 2012 iMac 21.5". It worked fine with 21A559, but with 21C5031D, I no longer see Airplay receiver under settings. Anyone else see this? Trying to enable it with OCLP 0.3.1 with "Allow OpenCore on Native Models" does not work.
