Are you having the issue with image files on 04.2 like we are on 0.4.3n?12.3B4 successfully installed using OCLP 0.4.2
This is the only issue I appear to have. Not a huge deal as you can still direct download images.

Same to me Monterey 12.3 b4 with OCLP 0.43n on Macmini 5,2 and iMac 11,3. On iMac14,1 no save problems because no need for post patches.macOS 12.3b4 on non-Metal early Macs cannot save JPEG or PNG files. Files can be opened, manipulated but Save function not available (greyed-out) in numerous graphics apps. Cannot upload these files in Firefox or Safari and Chrome, as well.👎
sudo /Applications/Install\ macOS\ Monterey.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/MyVolume Repeatedly got "Command not found" in Terminal 🤷♂️ Used gibMacOS-master Item #1 for install. That same installer running from /Applications made a perfect clean install onto a blank partition. Migration Assistant did the rest.Hi @K two
I don't understand, do you mean that there is no longer the possibility to create a USB installer using the Terminal command with "createinstallmedia"
Here it works as always, 12.2.1 downloaded with MDS.app and successfully created a USB installer using "createinstallmedia" contained in "Install macOS Monterey.app"

Hey @TimothyR734, what utility are you using to display that cool info on your desktop?I use particulars to display my mac's info on the desktop
This is why I've taken offence, I'll hold my hand up i've done something incorrect, I'm not afraid to admit I'm in the wrong. I followed Mr Macintosh's install instructions so i think i've done everything correctly. The only variable on my model and spec is i have a 1TB Samsung NVMe PCIe SSD installed with Sintech NGFF M.2 nVME SSD adapter. So i'm leaning towards this causing the issue. I cant get my head round what else it can beThat's a perfectly right assumption, since a lot of users with similar/same configurations happily run their computers.
It is also a basic of any troubleshooting: assuming I did something wrong and checking each action I took to double-check it was not wrong.
Did you check your OCLP under misc settings to see if the 2 NVMe settings are enabled and workThis is why I've taken offence, I'll hold my hand up i've done something incorrect, I'm not afraid to admit I'm in the wrong. Thanks for your reply, I see NVMe Power management is True and NVMe boot is false, should it be true?Did you check your OCLP under misc settings to see if the 2 NVMe settings are enabled and work
my suggestion is try it I don't have one in my Mac I saw the settings so maybe it might work on yours since you mentioned NVMe in your postThanks for your reply, I see NVMe Power management is True and NVMe boot is false, should it be true?
Yeah its worth a try I guess. I did wonder if this should be enabled. But wondered why it wasn't auto enabled as it had enabled power management itself. Which is ironic as when I had full system crashes, my Mac would be insanely hot and fans going full blastmy suggestion is try it I don't have one in my Mac I saw the settings so maybe it might work on yours since you mentioned NVMe in your post

Don't think so, I was able to create a USB installer from my 12.2.1 download without any problem, installer version 17.2.03.Looks like install from USB aka createinstallmedia has been removed from macOS 12.2.1.
I had a problem like yours with two of my family's five MacBook Pro 7,1 (mid 2010) when installing Catalina with the Dosdude1 patch. Based on this, I assumed that the problem was in hardware. This is why I've taken offence, I'll hold my hand up i've done something incorrect, I'm not afraid to admit I'm in the wrong. Just have put ASB's latest binaries for SkyLight, CoreDisplay, QuartzCore into my 12.3b4 installation, using Bigsurmountsrw - file save and upload work! Writing from this system. I guess will soon be part of OCLP 0.4.3.Posted this on Discord. ASB🟢 is now looking into the problem. 🤞
Clarification - This occurred in 12.3b4 while attempting createinstallmedia of a 12.2.1 installer which worked fine to install the macOS on a empty partition. So, USB install may have been dropped with 12.3b4? Command not found.Looks like install from USB aka createinstallmedia has been removed from macOS 12.2.1.
