If you're using OpenCore Legacy Patcher, simply go into settings and update just like a native Mac. Otherwise need to discuss with the author of whichever patcher you used on best course of action
i have done that but it states there is no update and i am on OpenCore

I installed the beta 1 to see how it will turns out on my Retina 13" late 2013 mbp and was not impressed with what I found as almost all Monterey features are disabled except for safari which we will probably get once the the Monterey is released.
So why bother going through all the hassle to get a Big Sur with a new wallpaper, hello screen saver and safari?

P.S. this my personal opinion.

Installing Beta 1 on an external SSD and will then upgrade to Beta 2. I don't have a Developer membership and did the direct download for Beta 1. I hope Beta 2 shows up automatically.

I'm up and running on an external SSD off my (supported) MacBook Pro 2015 15 inch. I have to set this up with my environment and will it will replace Mojave as my daily driver; though Mojave is on the internal SSD and always there in case something happens with Monterey. My 2014 is still on loan but I'm going to try to get it back tonight.

I installed successfully Monterey beta on my late 2012 MacBook Pro Retina 13 using OCLP 0.2.2.
I created new volume for Monterey beta.
During install, resolution is high and GUI is very slow. After finish install, desktop was shown without login screen. And I applied Post-Install Volume Patch.
So far, everything are working fine.
Congratulations!

Hi Pri-est, I am trying to get a Mac-flashed GC Titan-Ridge V2 TB3 AIC working with either Big Sur or Monty but although the card shows in PCI and Thunderbolt/USB4 hardware system reports and shows a driver loaded, it is not functional. Was there some trick to this for a cMP3,1 that you used?

Hi! Did you perform flash both eeprom chips? In your PCI devices missed second controller of titan ridge USB 3.1
I just flashed eeprom chip on GC-Alpine-Ridge and use it with UCB-C HUB

Hi Pri-Est. Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. I followed the instructions in this link.
There was nothing in the instructions about flashing the green rom, although I thought it was peculiar at the time that I was supposed to back it up! Maybe I should look for some other YouTube tutorial? But basically are you saying that I should flash the second green rom as well and which rom should I use?
Thank you for any advice and help you can offer and congratulations on getting yours working.

Yes, you need correctly flash blue eeprom chip. And connect 3 and 5 pins on type-c header. It's should work without OC mods.

I get you. Asked myself the same question. However, sometimes its just about tinkering on a car being in the garage... the journey is the reward kind of thing.

But if I install the new version of Windows 11 in another partition (ex fat), could I have problems with open core?
