Congratulations!I installed successfully Monterey beta on my late 2012 MacBook Pro Retina 13 using OCLP 0.2.2.
I created new volume for Monterey beta.
During install, resolution is high and GUI is very slow. After finish install, desktop was shown without login screen. And I applied Post-Install Volume Patch.
So far, everything are working fine.
No stalls oddly enough, however inconclusive until I spend a week with the OS. Monterey beta 1 seemed more likely to hit the PCI race condition the first day, however afterwards stabilized and became similar to Big SurIs booting better, worst or the same? Any stalls during boot?
Hi Pri-est, I am trying to get a Mac-flashed GC Titan-Ridge V2 TB3 AIC working with either Big Sur or Monty but although the card shows in PCI and Thunderbolt/USB4 hardware system reports and shows a driver loaded, it is not functional. Was there some trick to this for a cMP3,1 that you used?Hi All!

Yes, you need correctly flash blue eeprom chip. And connect 3 and 5 pins on type-c header. It's should work without OC mods.Hi Pri-Est. Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. I followed the instructions in this link.
There was nothing in the instructions about flashing the green rom, although I thought it was peculiar at the time that I was supposed to back it up! Maybe I should look for some other YouTube tutorial? But basically are you saying that I should flash the second green rom as well and which rom should I use?thunderbolt-macpro-5-1/GC-TitanRidge.md at master · ameyrupji/thunderbolt-macpro-5-1

Thank you for any advice and help you can offer and congratulations on getting yours working.
I get you. Asked myself the same question. However, sometimes its just about tinkering on a car being in the garage... the journey is the reward kind of thing.I installed the beta 1 to see how it will turns out on my Retina 13" late 2013 mbp and was not impressed with what I found as almost all Monterey features are disabled except for safari which we will probably get once the the Monterey is released.
So why bother going through all the hassle to get a Big Sur with a new wallpaper, hello screen saver and safari?
P.S. this my personal opinion.
Yes - plus being able to use the latest OS on older machines, beyond Apple's official support. A valuable aspect of the journey.I get you. Asked myself the same question. However, sometimes its just about tinkering on a car being in the garage... the journey is the reward kind of thing.
