MacBookPro13,1 update from 13.1 to 13.2 with OCLP 0.6.0 went fine. Advanced Data Protection also seems to work, wonder if that's intended.

Problems after updating my MacPro 5.1 to OCLP 0.6.0 and macOS 13.2: after installing, when I get to the log screen it flashes all the time. I can't introduce the password because it erases anything I try to type in every flash. I've got a Sapphire Radeon RX580 Nitro+. Any idea how to solve this issue? Thanks.
EDITED: May be AMD Polaris is not yet supported in this OCLP version?

I just did the same update with no issue but my card is a AMD Radeon HD 7970 3 GB

Can anyone confirm the update size is the correct 11,55 GB with patcher from 13.1 to 13.2? Because on M1 update was around 3 GB

Updated my 2015 iMac (retina) to 13.2 and reapplied patches with 0.6.0.

Graphics not working, colours are also all weird. I would not recommend updating to 13.2 until this is rectified.

Prior to this I was on 13.0.1 and everything was fine.

Also kernel panics with Safari.

Same experience for me with a 2015 27 inch retina iMac - installed ok but after post-install root patches the interface turned orange (some kind of colour inversion - blue items like folders and the opencore patcher icon are now orange) and no graphic acceleration. Reverting root patches fixes the colours but of course no acceleration then either. On a 27 inch 2014 iMac (still AMD GCN 1-3) the colours are ok but no graphic acceleration after post install root patches. However, on a 2011 iMac everything worked fine. Sadly, the 2011 iMac was my dry run, so I went ahead and did the later macs after it worked. So, the oldest machine is happy on 13.2 and now to try rolling back the others. Massive thanks to the devs for all the amazing work despite my issues. Best guess is that something about AMD GCN 1-3 support is broken by 13.2.

Try update my Imac 27 late 2015 to 13.2 from 13.1 with OCLP 0.6.0 update ok but no graphic acceleration after patching. Try Oclp 05.2.0 same result........

Finally, I had to make a clean install to make it works. It takes a long time to pass all the opening menus but once in the desktop I was able to install the Polaris drivers and now all works perfectly.

Now that the cMP 5,1 is supported (MANY thanks to developers) I have a couple questions...

Sounds like root patching will be needed for built-in USB. Since I only use a USB 3.x card can I skip this? Are there other root patches required? I have this WIFI/BT card and the Apple recommended RX 580 if that makes any difference.

I plan on staying on Monterey (boot SSD via PCIe with OCLP) for the time being as my main OS on this computer. Can I install Ventura on a separate SATA HDD that was used in testing Catalina/Big Sur/Monterey before making the switch?

Even if you skip the USB patches, every GPU, including your 580, also requires root patches.

Now that OCLP 0.6.0 is out, I managed to get Ventura installed on my 2012 unibody 15" MacBook Pro! So far, no problems. This will still basically be like a backup Mac laptop for me, third to my 2015 Retina 15" MacBook Pro and my M1 MacBook Air.

WARNING of possible serious BUG in 0.6.0. If you use Apple Thunderbolt screens, youmay find that they are not recognized with OCLP 0.6.0 and OSX 13.2 final
I just clean installed this setup on a MBP 13.3 TWICE and the TB screens are not found in the Graphics/Displays System Information item too.

WARNING if you use Apple Thunderbolt screens, they are not detected after a clean install of Ventura 22D49 with OCLP 0.6.0. When plugged in the screen attempts to do the swap over but nothing happens and all screen remain dark. They do not show in system information either. This was working with D2249 and 0.5.4n yesterday but today’s 0.6.0 has killed it.

Same issue when booted from a good known backup system?

Any MacPro 5,1 users out there with RX 6600 (non-XT) with working Ventura? I swapped my XFX RX580 but when I try to install Ventura I get a "boot-loop" screen turns on and off over and over on like the 3rd or 4th boot. Monterey worked fine and got video swapping the video card (after "fixing" the bios) but I can't get Ventura installed. If I do an upgrade (which I was able to with the RX580 I get the same no video result, only SSH and not sure what else to do afterwards.)

My MBP 9,1 upgraded from Monterey to Ventura without a hickup...didn't even have to do the installation media...

During the time I upgraded to 0.6.0, installed the root patches, and proceeded to upgrade to macOS 13.2 …

… they had already released 0.6.1.

Upgraded to 0.6.1, installed the root patches, and am now running back to normal on my 15” MacBook Pro (Mid-2015).

I upgraded to Ventura on a 5,1 with upgraded bt/Wi-Fi cards. Bluetooth won’t toggle on. Any suggestions?
Just an idea:

In terminal type

sudo launchctl stop com.apple.bluetoothd; sudo launchctl start com.apple.bluetoothd

I remember back in BigSurBeta/dosdude patcher there was a similar issue with Bluetooth which has been solved using a terminal command. Not certain the command above is the actual one that was being used though. Pretty sure you can find it in that forum.

On checking further, this seems to be model specific: the 15" MBP 2016 is affected but not the 13" MBA 2017. Just going to try root patching again on the former.
Tried a 3rd time and same issue--will build a new patcher tomorrow using OCLP 0.6.1 in hope that fixes it. Not a big issue for me because this old PoS MBP is soon to be replaced with M2 Mac Mini thank heavens.
