Anyone else around here with the issue "preparing update fails" error when trying to perform delta update? That's on both 13.4b3 and b4, 0.6.4 as well as 0.6.5n.

]Hello, I need help! When installing OLCP 0.6.4, my programs do not make a request to receive contacts and calendars, there are no requests, how to solve this problem Macbook pro retina 15 2012

What do you mean by "delta update?" Since patching with OCLP, all of my macOS updates (minor and major version) have required the full macOS installer downloaed by OCLP.

Well, if you undo the root patches of OCLP, restart, then search for the update, you should get only the delta update (~2.5gb). Install, redo the root patches, and you are good to go. I have done this a couple of times, no hitches.

MBP5,2: I had that "preparing update fails" 1-2 times quite a while ago when RSRs were introduced. Not since.

But I had some "full" OTAs fail with 13.3.1 and 13.4 betas (not with this message). My impression was that this happens when several OTAs are applied in sequence, not for the 1st OTA after an installation from downloaded InstallAssistant.pkg (using OCLP, gibmacOS or MrMacintosh for download).

For that reason and because it anyway gives a better defined starting point I prefer installation from downloaded installer, if available, over OTA, as deeveedee does.

One more thought: depending on which root patches are needed, after removing them the system may not be intact enough to do an OTA installation? At least it happened to me that after an installation of 13.3.1 from downloaded installer, and trying to apply the 13.4 beta upgrade OTA without applying the post-install patches, this failed. It worked though after post-install was done.

Apple has just released an update to XProtect Remediator security software for Macs bringing it to version 96. I'm on version 95, but I cannot update To 96 (with Silentknight nor with LockRattler ) : "no updates available". Is anyone experiencing the same issue?

OCLP 0.65n, Ventura 13.4 beta3, no issues here Apple Watch working working great, including handoff copy and paste, continuity camera, universal control etc, hopefully AMFI will get sorted out.
For a second there, I thought you got Ventura installed on your Apple Watch.

SilentKnight updated it on both of my Macs, M2 MBA and iMac 15,1, in Japan. Where are you?

I have a MBP 11,5 (mid 2015) running Ventura 13.4 b3 on OCLP 6.5n and most things work perfectly except those that need camera and microphone access (although Facetime works perfectly) - that includes Zoom and Teams.
Has anyone succeeded in getting those applications working and if so what did you do?

Yep, using SilentKnight on both a supported- and unsupported Mac, SK is reporting new version 96 available but doesn't find the update.

Use this https://github.com/plessbd/tccplus/releases/tag/1.0 - you can add the permissions for each app

Did you have it working before OCLP 0.65n (like on 0.64 or prior?)

Hey anyone can tell me how can I delete MacbookPro8,1.plist i cant use my macbook on Ventura on battery only on adapter please?

Multiple displays appear to be fully supported on my MBP6,2 (NVidia Tesla) running Ventura 13.3.1 and patched with OCLP 0.6.5n (20 April 2023) with the following exception: Microsoft Remote Desktop is not able to "Use All Monitors." When I connect an external display to my MBP6,2 (external display must be connected at boot to be detected by macOS), the external display works well, but it is not detected by Microsoft Remote Desktop.

Currently, my work-around is to revert to Monterey where MS Remote Desktop detects and works perfectly with multiple displays.

On supported MBP16,1 with 13.3.1, SK found and installed XProtect 96, but that was a few days ago.
On MBP5,2 with 13.4b3 and OCLP 065n, reported 96 but didn't find it (today).

Same thing happened on a supported iMac, merely copying the update label into the Install Named Update prompt under the SK file menu commenced the update satisfactorily.

MBP4,1 Early 2008 running Ventura 13.3.1 via OCLP 0.6.5n.

Severe Issue: Sleep mode/hibernation mode do n o t work. ->kernel panic with relation to NVDIA graphics (see Crash report below)

Changing values for sleep or hibernation mode via Terminal cmd "pmset" have no effect.

Would the developers be so kind to look into the problem, please?

Help is highly appreciated.
