I couldn't use a Kingston SATA SSD in my dMBP6,2. it proved to cause macOS errors for me. You may want to try another SSD.This computer came to me without an SSD, so with an adapter i installed a KINGSTON SNV2S2000G on it.

Ok. I made the same test in the same machine but in windows with Novabench. I have the following data:Hello.
I have strange values when I measure the disk speed with "blackmagic disk speed test".
I have this system.
- Mac pro late 2013
- Xeon processor with 6 cores
- Dual AMD Firepro D500
- 16 GB of RAM
This computer came to me without an SSD, so with an adapter i installed a KINGSTON SNV2S2000G on it.
When I made a test of the disk speed, i notice that:
- Reading speed is up and down. Suddenly he starts writing and then it's like he stops. The average speed is now 116 MB/Sec, although I have had much worse readings (40 MB/Sec).
- The read speed seems OK (1345MB/Sec without jumps).
I think that it must be cause by anything related with opencore legacy patcher, because i have windows installed in this disk too and i didn't notice speeds problems in windows (I wil search any program similar for windows to make the test).
¿Anybody know any problem with the disk speed in this model?
Thanks.
Oh, damn!!I couldn't use a Kingston SATA SSD in my dMBP6,2. it proved to cause macOS errors for me. You may want to try another SSD.
I only experienced the problem with macOS. I actually founds SSDs that works in High Sierra, but have problems in Ventura (and vice versa). The same drives work perfectly in Windows (installed on the same machine). I don't know how to explain it, but the solution that worked for me was to experiment with different SSDs.Oh, damn!!
I put in the mac a original apple disk (With ventura with opencore legacy patcher) and i have speeds of 700 MB/Sec of write and read.
Is there any workaround to solve the trouble o i have to buy another drive? The fail is only in Mac OS (In windows it works very well).
Is there an official/recommended method for submitting a report. I can reproduce the iWork app crashes with image import easily and could submit a crash report if needed. And as a general reminder: if you are posting that something is crashing, it is going to be incredibly hard to get to the bottom of it without crash reports.

Question. What version of OCLP are you using?i currently have an upgraded 2011 21.5 imac with Quadro K2100M card installed. Everything was good until i upgraded to ventura. Photo booth does not work. The only work around is if i open face time then photo booth will work. is there fix for this?
i just installed the latest verison and it still black screen when i open photoboothQuestion. What version of OCLP are you using?
same here with a K3100M card on a 2011 27" iMac.I have exact same problem with 2011 27" iMac with same metal upgrade card and Zoom. Black screen on Zoom unless I start FacetTime first. Tried all the fixes (AMFI Pass, and others listed here) but NG.
Can your computer run natively on Monterrey without OCLP?Hi guys ! I think I've tried many option and I guess non worked or perhaps I might have missed out something . What's a proper way to downgrade from Venture 13.4 to the latest Monterey ? And if so do I do it via OCLP creating an installer or just download the Monterey dmg to create a bootable USB stick ? Thanks in advance
This is exactly the first question. I downgraded from 13.4 to 12.6.6 using OC 0.6.7 which was already on the system. Basically I asked to download the image, then I selected the pendrive and at the end the program itself suggests applying EFI to the unit. At the end of formatting, I didn't even need to run the post-install, everything was already working. Can your computer run natively on Monterrey without OCLP?

Running Parallels was without any issues. Not so VMWare. I can't get it to create a VM of Windows 11. MBP11,4/14,3I have updated from 13.2.1 to the latest 13.4 with 0.6.6 successfully on a iMac 14.2 Late 2013 and running Parallels without problems. I imagine that VMware is similar....
