I don’t think it is RC as the build is 22G109 - which looks like a full release.Correction - 13.6RC
My first impression was full release but I have yet to confirm.I don’t think it is RC as the build is 22G109 - which looks like a full release.
RC always have a "non beta" release number.I don’t think it is RC as the build is 22G109 - which looks like a full release.
Confirmed - it is the RC. Thanks rbart.RC always have a "non beta" release number.
A "release candidate" is supposed to be released if no issue is found
MBP5,2: 13.6RC (22G109) installed OTA over 13.5.1 on internal SSD. Using latest OCLP main 069n (20Aug) for EFI and post-install patching. KDK from 13.5.1 is used as best match.Confirmed - it is the RC. Thanks rbart.
I forgot to say that the problem is present on the MBP11,1 also with the lid open (as @iPlasm also previously said, for his machine), when the Cinema Display goes black (after the screensaver, with the default settings): a rather serious issue.I can confirm that with OCLP 0.6.8, macOS Ventura 13.5 and the LED Cinema Display, in closed lid mode, also the MBP11,1 freezes after a while (never happened before) and must be forcedly shut down; while fortunately it still works connected to the display with the lid open: let’s hope this problem will be fixed soon…
Yep.I've got macos 13.5.1 running on a late 2012 mac mini using the Opencore Legacy Patcher 0.6.8 and the issue I'm having is with the TV app. I can't get AppleTV+ to play programs or download them. Is this a known issue?

I installed macOS 13.6 just now with 0.6.8 and it's fixed - confirmed. Didn't know 0.6.9 was out but now I'm looking.Apple TV issue is fixed in 0.6.9
0.6.9 Is still beta. So is 13.6 as far as I know, but probably RCI installed macOS 13.6 just now with 0.6.8 and it's fixed - confirmed. Didn't know 0.6.9 was out but now I'm looking.
You need to provide actual details about your problem. Nobody can help you with what you’ve provided here.I’m using the patch over ( something) patch software to install Ventura on my MacBook Pro mid-2013 which is supported. It installs but gets stuck at Mac Updating Assistant. Gives me an error in downloading updates.
Apple TV issue is fixed in 0.6.9
My AppleTV+ was fixed with the installation of macOS 13.6 using 0.6.8 for what it's worth. Before installing 13.6 go to TV, Settings, Advanced, then Reset Warnings, Reset Cache, Clear Play History, Confirm Clear Play History and exit the program. That advice was what Apple Support said to try while I was still having the issue. It didn't work. But the TV app did work after the full install of 13.6.Only kernel panics are fixed, not playing AppleTV+ content still persists…
All I can say is it's working fine on my iMac 14,2 - 13.5.1 with OCLP 0.6.9n (23Aug23), so there must be some hardware specific issues still to resolve.Only kernel panics are fixed, not playing AppleTV+ content still persists…
Followed your advice, upgraded the wifi card to a BCM 94360CS on a 2011 27 inch Polaris iMac , upgraded to Ventura. So far Airplay - Video and Audio - works great, can even use an ATV3 as extended display. Very happy to finally move from CatalinaThis is expected, my last test system without upgraded WiFi/BT needs AMFI disabled or has to use the lastest AMFIPass. But you need BT4.x and the WiFi AC for most AirPlay features, at least AirPlay to Mac does only work this way.
AirPlay needs some more reverse engineering ... unfortunately the HD3000 with macOS drivers has been used to provide full functionality with High Sierra, Mojave and Catalina, but those drivers are completely incompatible with later macOS versions, in particular other metal GPU drivers - only once I was able to patch it back on Big Sur using a stock GPU.
Can you test if GPU based H.264 worked with dosdude1 patches Mojave or Catalina on your particular system?Hi!
This question is not exclusive for Ventura but for OCLP generally: Macs that had video acceleration (H264 etc) in High Sierra, seems to have lost it in OCLP that which increases the CPU a lot when watching videos. Is there a way to activate the video acceleration on these macs? I’m using a white Macbook 2010.
