Did you tried Linux? It didn’t work, both MBR and GPT didn’t do anything unfortunately… I don’t know how thats possible, but I tried all of the steps and I was unable to format it at all. It gives me the same Media with 0KB of storage every time.

Sorry you are absolutely right, I will quit and wait for the release versions I was a beta tester for months, one of the big Sur patcher's, and I guess the error report bugging stuck with me. Sorry for the noise.Because you are not following the instructions and no one here should be helping on how to perform these tasks. Remember, these are alpha patches that are made for an OS in beta—refer to my earlier message about how more users using OCLP on Ventura at all = more noise for us developers to deal with.
Not yet. I’ll work on that when I get home.Did you tried Linux?
Can i fix this problem using the OCLP.app? i mean do i need a specific boot-arg or something to fix the ssd not working, or should i just use ubuntu 22.04? it would be easier to talk on discord imo.Try Puppy Linux...
Link => LxPupSc64-22.02+4-T.iso is 380Mb Distro. It has a lot of utilities for SSD's and HD's...
Fantastic!!! My iMac will live to see another day and another MacOS (when I decide to update from Big Sur)Success here also. OCLP 0.5.0 alpha, iMac late 2015. Full metal support. 😀 Phantastic job. Thank you to all developers.
Try this Linux Distro.... And OCLP will not fix the SSD issue. Can i fix this problem using the OCLP.app? i mean do i need a specific boot-arg or something to fix the ssd not working, or should i just use ubuntu 22.04? it would be easier to talk on discord imo.
Looking to your image, you have probably to Unmount all volumes attaching to the Disk then after Erase the DiskIt didn’t work, both MBR and GPT didn’t do anything unfortunately… I don’t know how thats possible, but I tried all of the steps and I was unable to format it at all. It’s mainly when I boot into the Ventura beta installer and I go into disk utility and that’s where I see the issue, sorry I didn’t explain it fully earlier. But I will try that tonight for sureLooking to your image, you have probably to Unmount all volumes attaching to the Disk then after Erase the Disk

That’s cool, Could you possibly send me the EFI folder so I can edit it to work on my MacBook Air?About This File
EFI's of Real Mac (MacBookPro12,1) - MacBook Pro 13'' Retina Early 2015 with Latest OpenCore 0.8.5 and Latest Kext's today's version.
Use this OpenCore to boot into Ventura 13.0 Beta 6 with latest OpenCore 0.8.5 instead of 0.8.0 provided by OCLP 0.5.0 (alpha).
This EFI is ready for booting in Windows 11 (BootCamp). Has the latest kext's today's version.
Works everything OOB.
Intel Iris Graphics 6100 patch for 4096MB instead of 1536MB.
List of kext's included in this EFI.
The versions of kext's.
I already have the OCLP 0.5.0 alpha-branch compiled, but how do I patch my IGPU in the case of my MacBook Air (11 inch early 2015)?You will need of OCLP 0.5.0 (alpha-branch) to patch your IGPU. Need to compile the source files.
I’ll see if I can get my external 500GB HDD to work. but again, I need a nvme m.2 ssd, I have an adapter for that to go into my MacBook Air, but I don’t have the nvme m.2 ssd itself. If you had a USB Case, try to put in Case your SSD and see if it showing up and erase.
It installed successfully on my external hdd! But now I've got a bigger problem, it's stuck on a profile which made my MBA useless, It's got firmware password protection on because my smbios in my oclp usb installer drive and now my MBA decided to put remote management on it, and I'm very upset about it. I'll have to use my MacBook 2010 (which is on Monterey through OCLP v0.4.10) to fix it...I understand, try to use the external hdd, see if it can be formatted.
Because I’m hoping it doesn’t come out as buggy as Monterey.Out of curiosity: Who in here finds Ventura a necessary update for unsupported Macs and why?
what it mean virtual avx2? kernel patch like amd cpu? thxTo run Ventura, you need a virtual AVX2. It takes time to create a virtual AVX2.
