Working (no issues so far):
  • Miro
  • Notion
  • Numi
  • Sketch
  • XLD

Not working:
  • Malwarebytes - reports error when opening existing install, won't install from scratch
  • Onyx - versions released per OS, so requires new version for Ventura

there is just something very wrong about going through this same exercise every year.... there has to be a better way to upgrade..
what do you mean? you can wait for the official release of each new OS version... or not, in fact, update at all...

EDIT: beta-testing (which is optional) is a really-useful way for apple to test things out with it's enormous user base, and all the variations in hardware and software we depend on. seems a pretty-great system (to me)...

Service Station and New File Menu are working. Both are Finder extensions so I would expect other Finder extensions will work.

GoLand seems to be working just fine on dev beta 1 (22A5266r). Had to update the Xcode developer tools/commandline to allow proper compilation, but has been working fine since then.

Updated the wiki post with this info.

A few additions of things I see working (Macbook Pro Intel):
ExpressVPN Version 11.1.1 (66865)
Evernote 10.38.1
GoodTask
HomeAtmo
Parallels Desktop 17.1.4

NOTE: I do see potential differences between Intel and Apple chips based on other comments above. It may be worth adding the chipset to the "working/not working" list above.
Notice that attachments on IPAD OS don’t open and crash the app….

Brave browser works, other than an annoying bug (I think) that add "login items" and Brave opens at login. No matter I remove it from system settings, it all starts again every time I open Brave.

I can't seem to get Safari Technology Preview to open anymore. Downloaded the latest one that states you need to be on beta (147), no dice. Was working in B1.

Dropbox is crashing for me. It's in a crash, reboot, crash, reboot loop in Beta 2

Further Notes:
I deleted, and reinstalled Dropbox and the same thing continued to happen. I think deleted and reinstalled again, and set the sync settings where nothing was syncing to my device. The app stays running in that instance. I am tempted to try and set it to sync maybe one folder or one small file and see if it can handle that. It may be a memory issue where larger files force the crash.

The same thing used to happen last year with Monterey betas. They would usually release a new build of the same release (147, in this case). But I remember it was happening very shortly after the beta release, so we should either get a new build today or tomorrow or they have changed something.

Hi everybody... anyone can confirm IconChamp is not working on Ventura beta 2? It was working fine on beta 1 and now it's broken... anyone? Many thanks!

Microsoft Remote Desktop worked under Beta 1, under Beta 2 it crashes. Happens every time I hang up a Skype call on the remotecomputer.

Iconchamp is working fine here, (MacBook Pro 14" M1Pro).

Eclipse version 2022-03 (4.23) and 2022-06 (4.24):
All menu items are not clickable. All context menu do not show on right click.

Workaround:
Click menu once quickly while splash screen still shows. Then all menu will be still useable after startup.

Magnet updated to 2.9. Working fine. iStat Menu crashes on my profile yet works on another, tried cleaning, restarting and re-installing to no avail, strange.
