Magnet updated to 2.9. Working fine. iStat Menu crashes on my profile yet works on another, tried cleaning, restarting and re-installing to no avail, strange.
Strange, and You've enabled everything it wants or asks for? It works great and perfect for me.

Brave browser works, other than an annoying bug (I think) that add "login items" and Brave opens at login. No matter I remove it from system settings, it all starts again every time I open Brave.
Hmm. Strange, mine doesn't have any login items.

Well, Little Snitch says they have a Nightly Build that works with Beta 2. However, I cannot accept in the Security tab to install.

Try to have look in About iStat menu. There are version numbers for 4 different components of iStat Menu and those versions should mostly match. Sometimes happens that there are radically different versions.

CleanMyMac X works just fine, except for the MenuBar which appears blank

Same for others?

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, and all else seems to work.. just the empty MenuBar functionality

On Beta 2, MS Remote Desktop crashes whenever you hang up a Skype for Business call within the Remote Desktop on Windows 10. Happens every time I'm working from home. Works fine on Monterey.

Enable cleanmymac menu bar in cmmx preferences.
I've gone through all the preferences, toggling all just in case it clears something out. I've also completely removed everything regarding CMM X, then reinstalled.. the menus drop down (as per screenshot) but never populate with data. I've also gone to the Beta trunk to see if a beta has wrapped this one up, no go there either

No matter what I do, I cannot get VLC to stay open without crashing. Have tried so many versions of the app, Including nightly. Won't stay open.

Anyone had any luck with LogMeIn? (Ie as a host machine so another machine can access it)

Dropbox v153.2.3907 appears to be working on beta 3. I'm using the macOS 12 beta (iCloud-style integration alongside the old Dropbox right-click services menu) so I'm not sure if everyone can access this version. (Dropbox granted me access from some beta toggle inside the app I think, but it's not an on-demand opt-in I don't think.)

It may have crashed once during setup but then it proceeded to sync all 2TB of my files (in online-only mode). I did a couple tests and files appeared to sync to and from Dropbox, as I could see+alter them from my iPhone, and download+Quicklook a PDF in Finder.

That said, it may be a little buggy. A file rename from iPhone didn't seem to sync at first, so I quit Dropbox on Ventura. When I reopened it, it didn't show up in the Menu Bar again … but the file change did sync.

Funny enough I had logged into my Ventura partition just yesterday to test Dropbox, and the above version did not work. However, the version I downloaded from the Dropbox website (v151.x.xxxx) did work on beta 2. So I wonder why others reported issues? Maybe Dropbox updated it?

Can someone else test and corroborate/compare on beta 3, see how it works for you? Dropbox being broken is the one thing holding me back from testing Ventura on my main partition. I may go back onto Ventura in a day or two if I have more time to see how solid it is.

(It does not appear I can update the wiki or else I'd do so.)

Ventura Dev Beta 3:
  • RightFont crashes on launch
  • iTerm launches behind other windows and can't be brought to the front.

MS Remote Desktop crashes on B3. Wasn't working well on B2, but now even worse. Glad I have a dual boot so I can boot to Monterey and work.

Does anyone have experience with UTM on these betas? What about Canonical's Multipass? Docker?

Non-virtualization related.. What about Wireguard or Tailscale?
